“The caravan was lovely and clean,decorated well and was fully equipped with all we needed.”

It was a great location as not too far to walk to the main entertainment hub but far enough away that it was quiet and you couldn't hear any of the nighttime things later on while trying to sleep. The owner was brilliant,she was quick to reply to messages and all communication was clear and excellent from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

The caravan was very clean, well equipped and comfortable, thanks! The location on the site is very quiet being on a no through road, with a quick walk to the leisure facilities and the other way to the castle and down the river to the Packet Inn. We really appreciated the large enclosed deck for the kids and dogs, and would certainly book again - Thanks!

“This is the loveliest caravan I've stayed in it was really clean and the decor was lovely!”

The caravan was equipped with everything you could need and the shower was the best I've ever used in a caravan. The facilities pool etc are a 10 min walk away (I would recommend leaving the car at the van as you will struggle to park) I really enjoyed sitting outside with a cuppa in the evening watching the planes and the geese and rabbits knowing my 2 year old was safe to run around because the veranda is gated. The advert says the van has internet and it does but it doesn't really work which is fine in my opinion holidays are better without it and if you have your data on your phone it wouldn't matter anyway! But though I'd mention in case someone relies on it. I really enjoyed my holiday and Sarah was happy to answer any questions I had I'll be recommending this caravan to friends and family ???? Thank you for a lovely stay.

The property

Welcome to Merlin’s retreat Park entertainment passes available on request. Located on Larch View with a short walk to the entertainment complex of the fabulous Tattershall country park.

Only a short walk from Tattershall castle and an easy stroll to all the main activities/ amenities. We have a secure wrap around decking area which is south facing for you to relax.

We have patio furniture on the decking as well as a wooden bench just off the decking which is a perfect area to enjoy a BBQ. Our 4 year old 8 berth caravan boasts a spacious living area with comfortable seating to 2 sides and a dining area with corner seating for up to 8 guests Between the living area and the bedrooms, is a well-equipped kitchen with full sized cooker, fridge and a microwave.

We aim to provide a good selection of utensils for all your cooking needs.

The good sized bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and handbasin. On the other side of the corridor is a further toilet and wash basin You will then come to the 3 bedrooms currently set out as 1 double and 2 twins There is also a double pull out bed in the living area. We provide all bed linen and your beds will be made up on arrival We also supply hand towels in both toilets but guests are requested to supply their own bath towels and towels for use at the beach, swimming pools and splash pad, etc. Inside the caravan, you will find a helpful user manual containing lots of information about things to do in the local area and beyond.

Plus ideas for eating off-site and takeaway services. Passes are available for the park amenities and need to be requested directly from the owners as the park no longer allow guests to purchase independently. Strictly no smoking inside our caravan or the security deposit will not be returned.

The city of Lincoln offers numerous places to visit, making it an ideal holiday destination. Its impressive hill-top medieval cathedral not only boasts striking architecture but was also a film location for both The Da Vinci Code and coronation scenes in Young Victoria. Walk the walls of Lincoln Castle and climb the tower, taking in views over the city.
