    “I’m unable to rate this caravan as we were allocated the wrong smaller caravan, so can only review the service.”

    Owner was contactable by phone and was told she’d look in to how this error was made and although we couldn’t be moved into this caravan she’d get back to us and see what she could do. Never heard from her again. Really disappointed as we specifically wanted a double bed for me and one for my mum - main reason for booking.

The property

Maple Tree is our lovely 2022, 3 bedroom, 8 berth caravan with a wraparound private decking that is situated on Golden Palm Resort in Chapel St Leonards. We are now taking online bookings for 2023 in our brand-new caravan - Maple. The caravan is double-glazed, central heated and well-equipped to ensure you have a real home-from-home experience. There is a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge, making it comfortable for 8 people to sleep.

There’s also a flat-screen TV in the lounge. Location: The Golden Palm Resort has a large clubhouse, which hosts some of the best entertainment on the east coast.

It also has a soft play area, a lovely heated fun pool with slides and play areas for young children around the park, along with shops and takeaways. Golden Palm is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 10 to 15-minute walk from the centre of Chapel St Leonards, where you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Within a 5-minute drive, you could be at Fantasy Island and the market at Ingoldmells, as well as all the bars, restaurants and shops.
