    “Disappointed with Golden Palm.”

    It was very hard to find the caravan as it doesn't have clear signage on the camp.. Golden Palm was really clean & well maintained.. A cafe would have been nice. There was a tiny one adjoined to the amusements on the main road, but not a substantial cafe. The swimming pool says you can get food, but when l asked they said they only sell crisps & biscuits , even though it has a menu advertised.

The property

We are taking bookings for our homely 3 bedroom, 6 berth caravan.

It has private and gated decking is situated on Golden Palm Resort in Chapel St Leonards. The caravan is double glazed, central heated and well equipped to ensure you have a real home from home experience there is even WIFI included in your stay!

There is a corner sofa in the lounge making it comfortable for everyone to watch TV in the living area where Netflix is installed and free to use throughout your stay on the smart TV, there is also an Xbox series x in the caravan for guests to use. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, wardrobe and over the bed storage Bedroom 2 has a double bed, wardrobe and bedside draws Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds, wardrobe and over the bed cupboards.

There are 2 toilets, shower enclosure and wash basins. Location: The Golden Palm Resort has a large clubhouse seating 2000 people, it hosts some of the best entertainment on the east coast.

It also has a soft play area, a lovely heated fun pool with slides and play areas for young children around the park, along with shops and takeaways. Golden Palm is just a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of Chapel St Leonards, where you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Within a short drive you could be at Fantasy Island and the market at Ingoldmells, as well as all the bars, restaurants and shops.

Skegness isn't too far either!

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
