“I recently had a stay in a caravan that I must strongly advise others to avoid.”
From the moment we arrived, it was a nightmare. The first thing that hit us was the terrible smell. Upon investigation, we discovered mouldy bread and other food items left in the caravan that were nearly a month old. The 29-degree heat only made the stench worse.
The issues didn’t stop there. Despite having paid a deposit, the owner withheld £40 due to a nosebleed my son had, which stained an old bed sheet. While I understand accidents happen, we’ve never had trouble getting blood out of bed sheets at home, which makes me question the quality and age of the linens provided.
The floor was another major concern. It was filthy, which is particularly unacceptable as we have a newborn. Crawling around, he ended up with bits of dirt stuck to him. This level of cleanliness is far from acceptable.
Additionally, there was no bin bag provided, so we had to hand-carry our rubbish to the communal bins on site. The bed sheets didn’t appear to have been washed recently and looked extremely dated.
Overall, this stay was highly disappointing and unpleasant. There are undoubtedly much better options available for the money. I would strongly recommend avoiding this caravan at all costs.

As the owner of this van ,I would like to highlight we have never had this issue before. The van was provisionally cleaned hrs before. The cleaner apologised for the missed bread. The only call we received from the above party was about the bread left in cupboard, our cleaner always sends over photos of the van once completed,.A bin bag is always left .All bedding is new.
If nose bleed had been reported we would have understood. Cleaner found van in a unacceptable condition. There is more to this issue then party as said. Our previous reviews are of a good standard.
We are highly insulated by this review.
We don't with hold deposit lightly
