“We booked Michelle and Wayne's caravan as a last minute break, we had never stayed in Chapel st Leonard's before so it was a nice change.”

From the beginning of the booking the communication was brilliant and the whole process was very easy. I've got to say this is hands down one of the cleanest and best presented caravans we have stayed in! The meet and greet is a really nice touch and Michelle and Wayne even supplied fresh milk and everything ready for that all important post journey cuppa! Absolutely everything you could need is taken care of including freshly made beds. The only thing missing was an Internet connection which ...

The only thing missing was an Internet connection which my kids weren't impressed about! Luckily there are plenty of games and dvds to keep them entertained when we were in the caravan which was a refreshing change as usually they are lost in their phones! The caravan is located close to the entrance of the happy days site, with 2 pubs/clubs at either side of the entrance (Arches pub was our favourite) plus an onsite, outdoor pool which we had complementary passes for. There are plenty of arcades, takeaways, cafes and shops all along the lane outside the caravan park which is brilliant. Overall this is a fantastic caravan for a small family, you couldn't ask for any better for the price and location. Michelle and Wayne are brilliant hosts and we will definitely stay with them again! About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

This property offers the following short breaks:
