It was clean and had everything that was needed. The owners kindly left a welcome basket, which was very appreciated. I had no issues with the van itself.
I travelled with four children and specifically chose this site because the advert states there is an outdoor heated swimming pool. In fact, we booked again for the May half term based on this.
Nowhere on the booking did it state that this was not operating. Other residents informed me that it is only ever open during the six weeks of the summer holiday. The pool was half drained, full of algae, and home to local ducks. There were also signs on the locked doors stating that the pool is not heated. Due to this, we were very disappointed and felt misled by the advert.
The site pub is open to all, as it is on the street. Drunken customers, fighting, and bad language meant that, for us, this was no place for children.
So, based on this and the lack of a usable pool, I would not recommend it. We left a day earlier than planned.
