Cleaner showed up 2.45pm and was in and out in 5mins. Grease on back splash of oven. Missing oven knob. Work tops were a bit dirty , One of the cupboard door was coming off , broken window on the outside , broken wash bowl. The previous people in before us had left a bag of dirty sheet etc in bag on the table and cleaner did not remove.
Also no clean sheets and duvet covers and towels as the advert had advertised, so had to buy our own off the market. We couldn't get into the park due to ...

We couldn't get into the park due to the barrier key not being available until we was inside , so had to ask reception to let us in even though they told us they are not allowed to. Same on way out , had to leave barrier key inside , so made it so we couldn't get out without asking reception.
Cleaner had also told the owner that we used their clean sheets and he had to pay for the cleaner to take them home and clean them , even tho we told the cleaner , they was left by the previous people when he came to clean. So owner was trying to charge us. Thankfully after explaining that was sorted. But cleaner clearly wasn't listening to us when we told him. Didn't appreciate that.
Highly recommend to look at what the cleaners are doing when they are there , it appears they are just coming in and doing a quick tidy than a clean.
And fix and clean the caravan properly. Will make for a better stay.
Don't get me wrong the caravan did us ok and we managed. But won't be staying again sorry.

I will certainly be having a word with the cleaner. I appreciate that it’s the middle of the summer holidays and he has a number of caravans to look after, but that isn’t an excuse for things being missed. Generally, we don’t have any issues, but on this occasion it clearly wasn’t checked thoroughly enough before your arrival, so I apologise for that.
Just to clarify a couple of points, the mark behind the oven that looks like grease is unfortunately staining due to the age of the splashback. We’ve tried steam cleaning and various other methods, but it won’t come off. The missing oven knob is already on order.
The broken wash bowl should have been replaced immediately and there’s no excuse for that being left. I’ll make sure this is addressed.
The outside window was unfortunately damaged by a previous guest. Replacement specialist glass has been ordered, but we’ve been waiting several weeks for it to arrive. Although it doesn’t affect the use of the caravan, I completely understand that it doesn’t look good and apologise for that too.
Regarding the bedding, this is why I initially questioned what had happened, as I had been told that bedding had been used and left for cleaning. Once you explained that it had actually been left there by the previous guests, the matter was resolved. Again, though, had everything been properly checked and cleared before you arrived, that misunderstanding shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
I appreciate you bringing these things to my attention because it gives me the opportunity to get them addressed. I’m sorry to hear that you wouldn’t stay again, but I respect your decision and wish you and your family all the best for the future.
