“Cheerful Yellow-Themed Caravan – A True Home Away from Home!”
We had such a wonderful stay in this bright, cheerful two-bedroom caravan, nestled in the perfect spot between Skegness and Ingoldmells. The yellow-themed décor adds such a warm, uplifting vibe—it feels like sunshine inside and really sets the tone for a happy, relaxed break.
From the very start, the communication from the hosts was fantastic—friendly, prompt, and informative. They made sure we had everything we needed before arrival, and their attention to detail really shows throughout the caravan.
The double bedroom is cosy and inviting, and the twin room is perfect for kids or extra guests. There’s an impressive amount of storage, with wardrobes, shelves, and hangers so you can truly settle in and feel at home—not just live out of a suitcase.
The entire place was spotlessly clean and well looked after, with all the little touches that make a big difference—cleaning products, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, an iron, and even a hoover (great if you’re bringing vacuum-packed items). You can tell the owners really care about the guest experience.
One of the loveliest surprises was the handwritten welcome note—a small gesture that made a big impact. There’s also a guestbook where previous visitors have left kind messages, and it’s a really nice touch to be able to leave your own memories behind for the next guests to read.
The living space is cosy and comfortable, with a Smart TV offering all the main channels, YouTube, Netflix, and a handy HDMI port. There are also games in the cupboard, which came in very handy on a rainy afternoon and kept the kids happy and occupied.
The outdoor seating area is perfect for sunny mornings or quiet evenings, and the option to park right next to the van makes unpacking so easy. If you’d rather not have your car so close, there’s the flexibility to park further down the site too.
The location is ideal—just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the beach, where you can take in lovely coastal walks to Skegness or Ingoldmells. There’s so much nearby: local pubs with arcade games and bingo, fun little auctions, a Chinese takeaway, pub food, kebab shop, and even a Spar for any essentials. On-site, there’s a small arcade and a fantastic fish and chip shop, which we really enjoyed.
Overall, this caravan felt more like a little seaside retreat than just holiday accommodation. It’s bright, clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared. We felt genuinely welcome and comfortable, and we’d absolutely stay again without hesitation.
