It’s the little home comforts that make big differences, and we can’t thank Wes & Val enough for this. The lodge was spotlessly clean and smelt amazing. The location was perfect, coming from all the hustle and bustle at home, and walking into this beautiful well kept lodge was so peacefully quiet. With just the sounds of birds tweeting. One Pine Grove is located in a beautiful forest setting, and reminded us of Centre Parcs, especially when we saw deer, squirrels and ducks roaming past throughout the week.
We managed to do so much in the 4 days spent. We hired a bike for my boy from the site, and was only charged £25 for the whole duration which I thought was very reasonable. We also booked in 3 activities for him, Archery, Water Gliders and Water Walkers all for £5.00 per activity each lasting between 30-45 minutes. Again, impressed with the staff, how well each activity was run. My boy had the best time. Definitely value for money.
We also spent the day at “Bewilderwood” Great family day out which we all enjoyed even Nanny loved the treehouse fun. It was only a 40 minute drive away, and then we looked forward to coming back to the lodge and chilling out for the evening.
We spent a day a Gorleston Beach, really recommend Cliffs Hotel, the view was amazing and food was just delicious.
Back on site we ate at Cooks fish and chip and also the sitting duck both delicious food. We will for certain come back as we loved every minute, I am so glad I stumbled across this website.
