“Excellent holiday home, we stayed 3 nights with parents and there was plenty of room.”

It is very comfortable and well equipped. We are regular visitors to Kelling Heath and would recommend this accommodation, which is in a quiet location.

NORFOLK COTTAGE AGENCY present SQUIRRELS CHASE. Please note only week long breaks are usually advertised on this website but we will be able to consider short breaks if not during the main peak Summer weeks.

Secluded on the fringes of the park, Squirrels Chase provides a distinctive and tranquil living experience, boasting comprehensive amenities and an unparalleled decking balcony.

It is cocooned by mature hedges and groves, and offers ample parking space for at least 3 cars in the driveway.

Ideal for those seeking a woodland retreat, Squirrels Chase is only a brief 5-minute drive from the beach and just a few more minutes from the charming towns of Holt and Sheringham. Enter into Squirrels Chase through the front door which leads straight into the large open plan lounge, kitchen/diner.

To the right guests will find a built in bench with hanging space for coats and room for storing shoes.

The lounge has a large corner sofa and an armchair together with TV, electric log burner and coffee table.

Moving towards the kitchen, there is a good size island for preparing hearty meals or quick snacks from.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric oven.

There is also a large dining table with seating for 6.

This large open plan space boasts 2 double patio doors which lead out to a large alpine style balcony deck which has a lounge area with sofas as well as a dining space with table and chairs. Off the open plan space is a corridor that leads to the family bathroom, and 3 bedrooms.

The modern family bathroom has a bath and overhead shower, WC and washbasin.

Bedroom 1 boasts a king size bed, an in built wardrobe with mirrored doors and an ensuite with shower, WC and washbasin.

Bedroom 2 features a king side bed with built in wardrobe.

Bedroom 3 is a twin room with a built in wardrobe. Squirrels Chase is located on a very peaceful and private plot at Kelling Heath.

There is a wonderful under cover balcony decking with lounge furniture and dining space, alongside a welcoming front garden and an enclosed back garden which has a gate leading to an area of open space that is great for running around on.

There is private parking on the plot for at least 3 cars.

WiFi is also available at the Lodge but please note we cannot guarantee speeds or reliability.

Holt is an attractive Georgian market town approximately five miles from the North Norfolk coast. The town offers a vibrant centre with interesting shops, eateries and a labyrinth of narrow lanes and courtyards with flint and painted cottages. On the edge of the town is the 'Poppy Line' heritage railway where you can take a steam train along a picturesque route to Sheringham, while Holt Country Park offers 100 acres of woodland with picnic area, nature trails and adventure playground for all the family to enjoy. Visit nearby Letheringsett Mill, Norfolk's only flour producing watermill, or travel just five miles from Holt to the beautiful North Norfolk coast with its lovely coastal villages. Within easy travelling distance are National Trust Sheringham Park, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, the seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer and the city of Norwich.
