“The caravan was adequate, sofa comfortable, bed needs mattress protector, tv in bedroom doesn't work, tv in lounge speakers maybe blown not sure if owner is aware.”

“I have just got back from this caravan after a weeks stay with my mum and 13 year old son.”

The caravan was clean and tidy, had a seating area outside and a parking space. The caravan is in walking distance to the beach and the bridge is just a few caravans away which leads you to the arcades/fair etc. The owners of the caravan have been helpful with my enquires and was quick to respond to any messages I sent them. Overall it was a lovely stay and ill definitely be booking with them again in the future.

“Caravan dated and in need of some repairs and upgrade.”

Toilet slight leak and seat not fitted correctly so kept sliding about. Seating area heavily spiked and not very comfortable due to age and very limited padding in seats can feel the wood base. They were covered with throws due to what we thought was damp but owner says deep cleaned. Carpets grubby but again age of van probably the original x Gate on decking was falling apart when we arrived and slats didn’t fare well in the high winds we had Sunday. For the time of year and cost would say good value and we had a lovely chilled break but wouldn’t pay high season prices to stay in it.

We are sorry you felt this way... As we are approaching end of the season we will be addressing all repairs/upgrades that are needed these will be undertaken during our shut down as this is the best time to do them when we have no bookings. We was not aware of the gate being broken until reading this, it must have happened during the storms we have had recently so will be addressing this. We try to give value for money all year round not just the winter months as you can see from our previous reviews Property Owner

We’ve been in your caravan for the 3rd time unfortunately we was really disappointed in the state of the caravan it’s a little run down on previous occasions but clean unfortunately the smell and cleanliness was really bad we went straight to Asda to by bleach disinfectant and throws for the seats the smell was really bad toilet filthy if it wasn’t for the granddaughter we would of come home but we didn’t want to upset her we tried to stay out as much as possible we couldn’t even sit out side before you had seats and a table area we’ve uploaded photos of caravan and the receipt we spent in Asda cleaning etc we’ve also left sheets and quilt cause I didn’t want to bring them back they was brand new so I hope you can make youse of then had to tell you as previously to this had to lovely holidays not on this occasion besides for the site that’s was good for granddaughter

Sorry to hear about the poor cleaning of the van prior to your stay. As you know from the 2 previous stays we are normally of a high standard but on this occasion we had a new cleaner as our usual lady was on holiday, safe to say we won't be using her again after this. As hosts we always try our best to keep our guests happy and only wish you had raised this concern with us upon your arrival and we would have immediately sent someone new round to clean. We pay a lot of money to cleaners so would have appreciated your contact straight away. As for the seating outside we do have a bench on the decking for you to sit on and we have previously had a table on the grass area but was asked by the campsite to have it removed or they would stop cutting our grass so had to remove it sadly. “We was booked into this van last week when unfortunate events took place and the park was shut down on the second day and we was literally given 2hours to find new accommodation by the park due to adverse weather conditions.”

If it hadn't been for the amazing owners of this van we would of been stranded with nowhere to go due to not driving we would of also struggled to get home with such short notice. The owners found us alternative accommodation and paid out of there own pocket which we couldn't be more appreciative for. Not only did they find us alternative accomadtion they stayed in touch throughout are stay making sure all was ok. We only got to stay in their van one evening but it had everything you could need for a comfortable homely stay,highly recommended, brilliant owners nothing is to much trouble, they go above and beyond.

“Fab holiday here.”

The caravan is so homely not like standard ones we have stayed in before. The owners where very accommodating towards times ect, they even messaged us to let us know there was a hog roast being put on in the park. There was lots of extras in the caravan so saved alot of packing. Hairdryers, straighteners, extra cleaning products games for kids , console etc. What ever you think of they have. a little bit of a walk away from the caravan to the park, entertainment but it's in nice quiet little area, beach within a 2 minute walk . Would definitely recommend here and this caravan. And the owners are lovely.

“It has been an absolute pleasure spending our holiday in your caravan.”

The caravan was very clean and had everything that we could have possibly needed. A very nice touch leaving us with a welcome pack of shower gel, toilet roll, juice, biscuits, jam, milk and a timetable of everything on the week. Owners were very helpful throughout the booking of the holiday, always responding to messages and reassuring us with any queries that we had. As a family of 5 we will be returning next year, in the same caravan. Once again thank you so much. Onto next year!

“Just come back after a few days away.”

Caravan was very clean with a welcome pack of juice etc. Beds comfy. We were on a quieter part of the site with the beach a very short walk. I would not recommend the chip shop because the food is expensive and portions very small. The club house was lovely, but again food was expensive. I will rebook with this caravan owner as her caravan and response to any questions was spot on.

It had everything we needed including a hairdryer and straighteners. Lovely extras for the kids including board games, a games console and dvd player with lots of DVDs to choose from. Gave us plenty to do on rainy evenings! The caravan itself was lovely and spacious with some nice homely touches. Highly recommend!
