“I have stayed in many caravans over the years; this one is perhaps the best kept and most luxurious I have stayed in.”
The caravan is very well equipped; the beds and the furniture are all very comfortable; the bedding and towels are all of the highest quality. There is everything you would need in the kitchen, with some nice touches from the owner, to provide coffee and tea, bottles of water, milk, sachets of butter and condiments (the type of things you often don't have when going on holiday). Lovely to have a veranda at both ends of the van, with the hot tub at the back.
The site is very well kept, very clean.
The cafe/bistro by the entrance is very good, we had a late breakfast there a couple of times; the food and service is good.
It is a shame that there is no food available in the evening; we went to the bar one evening and were surprised that there was no food (the cafe closes at 5pm). That evening, we ended up eating at an Indian restaurant by the Shell garage - the food was very good here, but on a summer holiday i would rather eat somewhere with more of a holiday feel.
A couple of other minor points about the site:
There is traffic noise from the busy A55 - a 'hum' of traffic. I am a light sleeper so wore ear plugs at night to block this out (all fine then).
There is a path to Traeth beach which was good - this isn't really advertised anywhere. I came across it as i always explore the area around wherever I am staying; it took me a day to realise that to unlock the gate i needed to use the security card.
In terms of the local area; Llandudnas doesn't provide much to do, but is a good base for getting to many places; we preferred to go west, to Llandudno and Anglesey, or south into Snowdonia. Lots of beautiful places around.
