“We had an absolutely brilliant holiday, and this lovely lodge really added to it.”

Had all of the things needed to feel homely. Was extremely clean and tidy when we arrived. We also had a range of ages in our family, from my mother in her 60’s, 2 young teenage children, to our youngest daughter who is 15 months, and everybody felt comfortable in their accommodation. We were even left a lovely thank you card for booking, a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates. Thank you Daniel and the Roma’s retreat team. We had a brilliant stay. Eddie Hughes.

“Well, what can we say about this hidden gem!”

What a fantastic weekend away we have just had at Romans retreat. The lodge is beautiful,was like home from home. The location was perfect!So many beautiful little touches. My husband was 50 and MIL was 80 and we couldn't of asked for a better weekend.Thank you so much and we will definitely be going back next year! We have made some wonderful memories. (Couple of things I'd like to mention- but had NO impact on our holiday. The bathroom and kitchen window didn't open, and a couple of panels were a little loose surrounding the decking) but like I said it had no impact on our wonderful break, but just to make you aware. Thanks again for everything

“Lovely long weekend at the end of the Easter Holidays - we love Hafan Y Mor, I've listed my thoughts below - no criticism, just my review.”

Pros: The lodge is very homely and comfortable. The chairs and tables outside on the verandah are great. Beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Cons: The lodge had a strong dog smell, which might be unpleasant (I'm well aware this is a very dog friendly accommodation but just making people aware). The outer verandah could use a fresh coat of paint. The listing inaccurately states that a washing machine and tumble dryer are part of the holiday home facilities, but they are actually located in the on-site launderette. The only heater available was a small one in the hallway, with none in the bedrooms, which should be updated in the listing.

“Amazing lodge, really homely and fantastic area right by the beach!”

Very quiet, and had everything we needed, we didn’t end up bringing our dog in the end but lots of pet bits available. Communication was great with the owner, my son said it was the best holiday ever! Thanks again!

“My husband and I and our ageing dog, George have just spent an excellent week in this accomodation.”

Everything you could need was there plus lots of extras for us and George. The position on the site is excellent suited what we wanted so quiet at times you could only hear the waves and birds. However the main complex is near enough for you to use if that's what you prefer! The beds were so comfy it made a lovely change for a rental. The owners are excellent at communication and very accommodating. We loved the closeness to the beach and lovely walks. None moreso than George! He loved running on the beach and lazing in the sunshine on the deck. I swear he's depressed since we got home!!! So we definitely recommend a stay and so does George for all the doggies out there wanting a chilled break away!

“We truly had the best time.”

Even if we didn’t go out into the late evenings drinking etc We loved where the lodge is on the camp, the pathways. Beautiful holiday even my boys ( dogs) are low Hubby wants to rebook asap lol x

The property

Our lodge is a cosy little home, away from home.

Situated in a quiet and green corner of the resort, only 2 minutes away from the beach, this lodge offers the peace and quiet one might look for from a holiday vacation, nonetheless, within 5-10 minutes walk you can easily access everything the park has to offer in terms of entertainment, dining and adventures. With views of Snowdonia and the Welsh coast you can enjoy a romantic retreat or a family getaway, with your furry friends being more than welcome to join you. You will find everything you might need for a pleasant stay, with everything provided by us, except for towels. *Please note that the Wifi is the one that Haven provides.

We currently do not offer private Wifi connection. * Should you have any special requests, please email us. If you're not familiar with the Haven, Hafan Y Mor resort, it has activities for the whole family such as: bike rides, pedal boats, high ropes course, sports court, swimming pool with slides, and venue with shows for both adults and kids. On site there is a wide variety of dining options, including Papa John's, Burger king, Lily's cookies, Fish and chips, a sports bar and more. Whatever you choose to do we can guarantee you that everyone will have an amazing time.
