The property

This beautiful holiday lodge is located in Aberdunant Hall & Holiday Park which is situated just off the A498 in Tremadog, the park itself is a truly lovely spot, nestled in 200 year old woodland, it provides guests with a naturally, tranquil and picturesque location with lots of nature trails and waterfalls around the site.

The Aberdunant site is located just a short car journey from many popular spots such as Porthmadog town and harbour, Black Rock Sands and other popular places like Criccieth, Bedgelert, Harlech, Portmerion etc.

there are plenty of beaches, and mountain and river walks, and for those guests with a sense of adventure (and good mobility) we are only around half an hr from Pen-y-Pass in Snowdonia, a popular starting point from which to walk up Snowdon, as three of the popular routes can be started here including Glyder Fawr, to the north The holiday lodge is a Willerby New Hampshire - it is spacious, modern and comfortable, there are lots of lovely features with gorgeous high ceilings and quality fixtures and fittings throughout.

Guests will enjoy the elevated position with it's large outdoor decking and separate BBQ area.

Inside it is light and airy with lots of windows, a sliding patio door onto the front decking and French doors opening from the main entrance into the large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining space, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (an en-suite with shower, and a main with bath & over bath shower), the rooms are fully made up with quality bed linens, a good supply of plush towels & adult bathrobes and a supply of toiletries and treats for that extra touch of comfort and luxury! The lounge area has two 2 - 3 seater settees plus a good size bench seat for additional seating.

There is a mounted smart TV, electric fire and blue-tooth speaker system, a large coffee table and lots of useful places for storing extra items within the built-in wall units.

The patio door slides open for easy access to the decked area and BBQ facilities, and for cooler evenings, we have a supply of snuggly throws to cuddle up with. The dining area has a 6 seater dining suite and an additional two-seater area, which can be used as a work space or breakfast bar. There is a large and fully equipped kitchen with all amenities, including, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer, microwave/grill and full size 5 ring gas hob with oven and grill, Tassimo coffee machine etc., all equipment and facilities are listed separately in our Guest Information Booklet. Leading off from the lounge area are three bedrooms and the main bathroom.

To the rear of the lodge is the master bedroom, this is a lovely spacious room which benefits from a king-size bed, dressing table area, lots of wardrobe and storage space, wall mounted TV and a separate en-suite with shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. The second bedroom has a double bed with bedside cabinets, there is lots of wardrobe storage, drawer unit and a built-in dressing table and TV area. The third bedroom is a twin and has two full-size single beds and a single wardrobe, drawer unit and under-bed storage. The main bathroom has a compact bathtub, a heated towel rail and underfloor heating to help keep you warm and comfortable on cooler nights. Along with the sumptuous luxury towels, we also provide soft, snuggly bathrobes for your comfort and convenience (adults only). Outdoors you will find comfortable rattan style seating and dining table comprising a 3 seater settee, 2 armchairs, 2 stools and a dining table, and a conveniently located cushion storage box.

There are also two steamer style recliners for relaxing or soaking up the sun during the warmer months. A large BBQ and picnic bench is located in a separate area at the side of the lodge, and for additional items there is a separate storage box for guest use at the entrance to the lodge.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caernarfon. The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands. The area also boasts castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and superb unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. Also within reach is the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below where you can get involved with a variety of activities including the thrilling zip wires and underground caverns to explore; there is something here to suit the whole family. An ideal location for the attractions of Snowdonia and the The Llyn Peninsula.
