“I don't like writing a review on someone's livelihood in a negative manner, but I couldnt on this occasion.”
We went with this van after reading all the glowing reviews, but I honestly dont know how they wrote those, unless they are friends or family of the renters. The big thing for us was that the caravan was reviewed as being 'spotless'. But what we spent 3 nights in was definitely not spotless. We went with this van after reading all the glowing reviews, but I honestly dont know how they wrote those, unless they are friends or family of the renters. The big thing for us was that the caravan was reviewed as being 'spotless'. But what we spent 3 nights in was definitely not spotless. There was thick cobwebs that have been there a good while, dust ontop of the head boards, bedding that we paid £35 for smelt like dog but the absolute worst thing was the floors. My son is autistic and has his shoes off.... alot, but after an hour or so in the van, his feet were black. My daughters white sox, black at the bottom. Many people reviewed that the van was homely and had everything that it needed but we struggle to agree, when all the windows (including the bedrooms) had no nets, meaning there was absolutely no privacy. No toilet brush which meant leaving the toilets in a unkept way. No sort of lamps so it was the big lights or darkness. If it was longer than a weekend, I wouldn't have stayed, as the camp itself doesn't seem to put money back into it, with the shop and takeaway both empty. Only positive I could say is that, the caravan was lovely and airy with many doors and having a air fryer was a plus
