“Absolutely amazing caravan.”

From the moment we walked in, we couldn’t stop complimenting how lovely it was. Excellent value for money. Mattresses including bed and pillows were fab! Comfortable nights sleep. Children loved it. Heating and gas fire were a god send, so warm of an evening. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

“The caravan itself is lovely - clean and well equipped.”

Though maybe not quite as clean and well equipped as the owners seem to think it was. The fire didnt work from the outset bit neither did the fitted heaters. The broadband is appalling and renders use of the smart tv almost void. The handle on the grill was broken when we arrived but our deposit was withheld on account of this. This was really annoying as it was difficult to use throughout our stay and then we were penalised for it been broken in the first place! Rather infuriating. The owners also reported marks on the sofas - again, there on arrival, and said that a window was left open despite checking them all before we left. Unfortunately, a mark - not stain - was left on the duvet cover by one of the cases when packing to leave but definitely doesnt justify the £75 deposit being withheld! The electric also tripped and we were left in darkness, though to be fair, this was remedied quite quickly. The caravan itself is nice as is the park its situated on but I would advise anyone to add £75 on to the cost of their stay for the unjustifiable or excessive loss of their refundable deposit. The kitchen and dishes were was cleaned, the caravan hoovered throughout, all rubbish removed and the beds made. With the exception of the mark on the duvet which should wash out, the caravan was left as it was found with very little cleaning required. A very disappointing end to an otherwise generally pleasant stay.

“The caravan was nice and clean on arrival.”

It seemed spacious as we are used to 3 bedroom caravans. Beds were made and were largely comfortable. Extra blankets were provided which were useful to use with the sofas. Cutlery and kitchen appliances were useful. Clips in outside storage were handy for wet towels etc after swimming. Location is not ideal, with being on a road junction it was often quite noisy in the evenings. Pillows were large and bulbous, and we had to buy alternatives as they were far to high for our little kids to use. Would benefit from a few extra items, like games, etc, but luckily we had brought our own in-caravan entertainment

Lovely caravan and in a perfect setting with a sea view. Nice seating area with decking to sit outside and dine alfresco or just to have a coffee and watch the world go by. The booking process with UK Caravans was easy.

Received email and texts from the owners Pam and Abbey on my booking and caravan details which was really helpful. The caravan was lovely , clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Really liked the lovely seating area on the decking, nice sitting out on an evening. I would highly recommend booking to stay in this lovely caravan.

The property

Welcome to our 2018 Swift Provance located on South Cliff Court ! Just a 2/3 minute walk from the main complex, with partial sea view from the living room window! The caravan is central heated The caravan is fully equipped with a smart TV, George Forman Grill, air fryer and lots of other homely bits and pieces for you including WIFI! We have spaces available to park 1 car outside the caravan, with additional parking spaces to the opposite side of the van. Bedding is included you will however have to bring your own towels. Haven Funworks passes are NOT included in our booking prices, although they can be purchased separately directly from haven. The caravan has 3 bedrooms; one double with en-suite, 2 twin bedroom There is one bathroom with a WC and shower. The kitchen comes equipped with a toaster, kettle, gas oven & hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, George foreman grill, air fryer and microwave.

A full complement of pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups and cutlery to cater for 6 guests.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £75.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
