    “The caravan was clean and had all you need and some little extras like board games.”

    Sadly it was very dated and tired inside and in need of some attention and although advertised as having a sea view, this was not the case. You could see a tiny part of the sea between caravans! Additionally I paid extra for wifi which was very poor and I couldn’t use it. It often said no internet connection. It was located in a quiet area of the holiday site though, and the beds were comfortable.

    Disappointing review. The photos in the advertisement are exactly as the caravan is, so to book and say it is dated is bemusing. This is the only review/opinion, ever, to say this. There are definitely newer and more modern caravans on park but please do expect to pay 2x or 3x what we advertise our caravan out at. As for the WiFi, I cannot comment. There was no request to myself to help and whilst on busy occasions we have noticed the WiFi is slower, it has always been useable. Property Owner

The property

Luxury Willerby Solstice caravan for hire on Rose Bank at Primrose Valley Holiday Park with large veranda and sea views. Modern floor coverings throughout the caravan.

This caravan is one of the few which has the benefit of sea views and is located in a quiet cul-de-sac though still within easy reach of all of the facilities.

It also has a wide open grassed area at the side of the caravan for the children to play in safety.

There is a separate patio area and the caravan itself is furnished to the highest of standards. As well as this we have a large decking with another Table and Chairs. Fully equipped kitchen that includes a gas oven , microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and Tassimo coffee machine.

The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans and crockery and cutlery if you want to self cater.

In the lounge we have a Samsung LCD TV with Freeview and a Play Station 3 with a range of games.

There are also various board games, DVDs, Blu-Ray Discs and books to keep the family entertained when not enjoying the fantastic facilities offered by Primrose Valley.

The caravan has 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms, allowing six people to stay comfortably.

The bathroom has a double shower cubical with the latest Mira Shower fitted and separate basin and bathroom cabinet. Also we have another room with a toilet and basin. The caravan has mattresses replaced to be the same quality as what you would use at home as opposed to the cheap budget ones often found in caravans. Central heating and double glazing give this caravan a warm and cozy feel. On the large veranda there is patio furniture allowing you to enjoy the sea views.

There is private parking next to the caravan for 2 vehicles. All gas and electric is included in the quoted price.

Bed linen is not included in the price.

Bring your own or we can arrange linen hire though a 3rd party.

FILEY

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
