    “Fantastic caravan with amazing sea views.”

    The caravan itself was spacious and modern. It was great that a high chair and a cot were supplied as that stopped us having to bring our own. It was also a great location for the main centre and facilities which was a bonus for our 2 small grandchildren, also a short walk to the beach access road. Buses to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington stop a few steps away from the caravan and run every half hour, if you fancy getting off the compound. However we walked along the beach and it only took ...

It was also a great location for the main centre and facilities which was a bonus for our 2 small grandchildren, also a short walk to the beach access road. Buses to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington stop a few steps away from the caravan and run every half hour, if you fancy getting off the compound. However we walked along the beach and it only took about 20 minutes to get into Filey. The owner Louise was very helpful in supplying answers to our questions. We will definitely book again for next year.

The property

Here is our stunning mini lodge sited on Primrose Valley holiday Park in Yorkshire.

The lodge has a front line sea view and is 2 minutes walk from the main complex and very close to the beach path which makes it the perfect location for a family holiday.

Our lodge is extremely modern.

The entrance hallway leads into the kitchen which has a double sink, dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer, oven with grill, large hob and a built in microwave.

There is a dining table with comfortable linen upholstered chairs .

The lounge has full glass windows to the front so you may enjoy the breathtaking view of Filey bay.

Sliding patio doors give access to the large deck which wraps around the lodge.

There are 2 good sized twin rooms with comfortable deep mattresses, TV and wardrobes The master bedroom is beautiful with a king sized comfortable bed, tv and dressing area with dressing table and wardrobe. There is an en suite with toilet and wash basin too The main shower room also leads from the hall and has a double shower, toilet, wash basin and towel radiator.

Primrose valley holiday park is Havens 5* flagship site.

It has two complex’s with pools, The main complex has entertainment, a well stocked shop, papa johns, slim chickens, Burger King and a chip shop.

Please note that we cannot supply entertainment passes for our guests.

Your booking is to hire our lodge and passes, if required, can be purchased from Haven.

We have a keysafe system and the code is sent to guests just before your stay.

We will ask for guest details so that we can book your arrival in with Haven ( this is for fire regulations so they know who is on site )

About the location

FILEY

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
