“We had a lovely stay!”

The property was just as pictured. It was less than 5min walk to the entertainment bar and restaurants and there was a park a few mins away too. Good outdoor seating on the balcony. At lot of storage space and the main bedroom was a good size. The owner was quick at responding too not that we had any problems. My 2 year old loved the ‘holiday house’ and we’d definitely book again!

“We had a lovely stay.”

I had to contact the owner over a couple of minor issues and they were resolved immediately. I would book this particular caravan again. It was comfortable, clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a short stay. We didn’t use the Haven facilities except for eating out but it’s a good base for visiting the surrounding area. Saying that, the younger families we saw that had Haven passes looked like they were having a great time. Highly recommended.

“Just had a great stay, the caravan was just right for my stay it has very comfortable beds which is a must for my older bones, the main bedroom has more space than i needed, the caravan is clean and spacious, the kitchen is well stocked with most things needed for cooking, the outside seating is lovely, there is a good dog walking area not far from the beach which my dog enjoyed with access to the beach not too far away.”

i can highly recommending this caravan as a fantastic place to stay and cant wait to go again. PS would love to know the make of the mattress so i can try and get one .

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
