“Bay View” This is our family holiday home (a 3 bed - 6 berth silver van) which we are sharing with you.
We like our comforts and would like to share them with you.
To make stays more comfortable:- a fully equipped kitchen.
There are 3 bedrooms - 1 double (with a TV) and 2 single.
All beds will be made up for you on arrival.
We are located on Bay View behind the Main Complex only a few minutes walk away.
We have sea views.
The Lakeside complex is 10 minutes walk away or use the On-site train when running.
The location is ideally placed for:
- Tranquil holidays - There are scenic walks and lazy days.
- Exploring the area – a frequent bus service leaves regularly from the main complex to Scarborough and Bridlington.
Filey is in easy reach for walkers among you.
And train stations are near by.
- The historic city of York is 60 minutes drive away.
- A gentle 5 minute walk takes you to the main complex where there are Takeaways, entertainment venues and the first of the swimming pools.
- The beach is accessed from two clearly marked beach paths at each end of the Park.
- There is bookable entertainment on in the Live Lounge and Show Bar throughout the day and the evening - all details in the Haven What's On App and advertised around the site.
There is a charge for these as you need to purchase Play Passes and book your places.
- In some areas, depending on staffing, takeaways and table service is available - Use the Haven Serve App.
- If activities are your thing there are a further 3 pools at the new complex - Lakeside by the main gate, archery, and a whole host of activities that can be booked for the whole family.
Please Note: Access to the complex’s swimming pools and show bars requires Play Passes.

No restriction on changeover day.

There is a small charge for cleaning (one per booking not one per day) - what you see is the price we charge and includes bedding, unlimited WiFi, and basics to get you going (tea, coffee, washing-up, tea towel, dish cloth and handwash.
WE DO NOT SUPPLY TOWELS.
HOUSE RULES:
- Family Groups welcome.
- NO SMOKING OR leaving Cigarette Butts around the van.
- No Bachelor / Hen Parties
- No charging Electric Vehicles.
- Pets - one small dogs well behaved is allowed.
Please bring a blanket to put on the settee if you allow them up.
Not allowed on the beds.
Any damage will need to be repaired or items replaced.
Any accidents will need to be cleaned so no smell is present.
Full details about the park and Play Passes are on the Haven App.
They are purchased directly from Haven.
Owners are not allowed to sell them / pass them on.
After you have booked, I register you with the Holiday Park.
They send an email so you can use the online link, or their App, to purchase Play Passes and book activities.
Alternatively they can be bought and booked after your arrival at Reception on a first come first serve basis.
You will need a registration code which is emailed to you.
For you to purchase a Play Pass with Haven your stay must coincide with a Haven break of 3/4/7 days.
They no longer issue day passes.
Haven Stays are Mon/Fri, Fri/Mon or Sat/Sat.
Some times it may be possible for me to arrange your registration to align with a Haven Break ( an admin change with no charge).
You will need to pay the full price for the pass for this aligned period.

Play Passes gives access to all pools (1 outdoor the others indoor).
In addition there is outdoor climbing jungle, rental on pedal bikes for 2/4 individuals, and entertainment in the Live Lounge or Show Bar for all ages including live acts and children’s entertainers.
Some items including Swimming and entertainment, are bookable via their website.
My understanding is that these are this year’s prices:
Child is 4-16.
Under 4 no pass.
Adults over 16.

When you book with me my emails include details of activities close by.
For swimming other owners advise Bridlington Leisure Centre (15-20 mins) or The Bay (4 mins).
I can’t swim as I’m allergic to chlorine however I’m advised these are pay per swim and cost considerably less.
