Leann’s lodge is beautifully kept and is well equipped with all the essentials to make it a great home from home. The location is great, right near the Lakehouse. The park is good with a range of activities to suit all ages. Leann communicated with us throughout the booking process and during our stay. Highly recommended 5*

“Visited Primrose over the Easter weekend 2025.”

On arrival the caravan was immaculate and spacious, with everything you could ever wish for. Caravan is in a great position opposite the Lakehouse facilities with a lovely sunny veranda and a short walk to the clubhouse. The owner made the whole booking process so easy and would love to return in the future.

“We came away for my daughters first birthday and due to her age we knew we wouldn’t be going out every night so we wanted a ‘home from home’.”

Leanns holiday home didn’t disappoint and had everything you could possibly need! It’s so cosy and with the decking balcony it’s lovely to sit outside whilst little one was napping! Leann provided the high chair & cot bed for us too. Located in front of the lake and all the activities was great for the eldest and only a short walk to the main facilities. Leann also left a handy notebook with recommendations in to eat out so we chose an Indian that was really nice. To book was super easy and Leann sorted everything, great communication and the holiday home was immaculate. Highly recommend and hopefully be back again in the near future! Thank you!! Xx

“Very enjoyable and relaxing 4 night break.”

Lovely caravan/lodge situated in quiet area of park. Very well equipped with tea, coffee, sugar and condiments provided. Really comfortable bed with nice bedding. Big plus was Sky Sports especia;lly at this time of the season. Even had sunny weather. Booking procedure was straightforward and Leann kept in touch throughout. Would highly recommend and will happily book again.

Could not fault anything. The chalet was immaculately clean everything needed as regards kitchen full size fridge/freezer, utensils etc. Furnishing we’re exquisite home from home. Lovely outlook over the lake and park. The hosts were amazing. Helpful and efficient in both booking and supplying useful information for us to enjoy our holiday. Highly recommended. “We stayed in leann's caravan for two weeks with our youngest son and both granddads joining us in the second week, we had superb weather in a fantastic location in 5star accommodation, you could not ask for more, we contacted leann as we are both MOTOGP followers and was unable to view the races and overnight it was all sorted for us by leann, what can we say but a huge thankyou.”

Everything you need is in the caravan along with all the comforts, will highly recommend this beautiful holiday home to all family and friends, thankyou leann and carl. Debbie and Dave xxx

Super clean and came with lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts. Eg, coffee pods, sweets for the children, books and entertainment. The kitchen was fabulously equipped. Communication was great, and the hosts were very helpful. Would visit again without a second thought! Thank you!

“The caravan is in a fantastic quiet Location over looking the lake and the park.”

It beautiful decorated and immaculately clean throughout and we felt it had a lovely homely feeling to it. Leanne left lovely little touches like tea/coffee/sugar ,board games DVD’S etc etc. We had beautiful weather during our stay and from the caravan site we visited Filey which was a nice stroll along the beach and we went to Scarborough,Whitby,Bridlington by car,so in the evening we sat out on the lovely veranda which has comfortably seating area to use . On arrival you have access to a key safe which was brilliant so no lengthy checking in process. I would definitely recommend the caravan to family and friends and we hope to book again in the near future. Thanks once again Leanne for a pleasant stay take care and stay safe Jackie & Les

The caravan itself is just lovely. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean throughout. It’s like home from home. Lots of thoughtful little touches like tea/coffee/sugar, board games, DVD’s etc. Leann and Carl are brilliant hosts. We had an issue with the Sky box and they arrived the following morning to fix it. Nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and will hopefully return in the near future. Many thanks!

“We managed to get a late availability in the school holidays for a brilliant price, you would not know that you were in a caravan, but a lodge it is so homely.”

All the home comforts you need, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor and a great location. I was happy to let our young children safely play out on the veranda as it was gated and secure. Leann was pleasant, helpful and quick to reply to any messages. You access the key from a key safe so no lengthy check in process.

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
