    “Fantastic caravan that was even better than the pictures.”

    Had everything we needed. Location was ideal and quiet. Jean was completely helpful from booking to leaving and ensured we had all the info and everything we needed for our stay. Place was clean and the double bed was excellent, we got a better night's sleep than we do at home! All in all vets glad we booked this caravan.

The property

The caravan is only a two minute walk from the main complex and the children's play ground and a 5 minute walk to the fun fair and boating lake. We have a well maintained standard caravan which sleeps 6, three bedrooms, one double and two twin rooms. The lounge area has ample seating and under seat storage, dining table with stools.

A flat screen Digital TV/DVD, Radio/CD player and various cupboards for storage. Kitchen - comes fully equipped with built in oven/hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron & ironing board, hoover and all crockery, pots and pans. Bathroom - shower cubical with constant hot water, toilet and wash basin with under storage unit. Bedrooms - master bedroom has a double bed, double wardrobe, overhead storage & a standing heater. Twin rooms have two beds, single wardrobe and separate shelving. All rooms are provided with pillows & quilts, but could you bring your own linen. All gas, electricity and water are included in the price. The entertainment passes are NOT INCLUDED but these can be purchased from the Primrose Valley reception area if required.

Some of our hirer's do not want passes so this method is fair to all. For the safety of our guests the caravan is equipped with a fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and all windows in each room open. Please note: Smoking & Pets are strictly forbidden.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
