“The position is fantastic a beautiful site with immaculate statics ,every body is really friendly .”

And the site is peaceful .Unfortunately the static is very tired ,on arrival you notice the dated decking and broken gate ,once inside again very dated the lounge blinds are broken the furniture is very shabby and you do need to take throws [ makes it more homely] the carpet is ready for a change and the duvets and pillows ,the kettle and pans could do with replacing , the shower was good with plenty of hot water .The price was fair and we didnt spent a lot of time in the caravan as we were out ...

“Lovely site.”

The caravan and the decking could do with some TLC.Ariel upgrade. Upholstery needs cleaning or provid throws especially if pets are staying? Blinds in bay window need replacing or repairing?.Otherwise a very comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. Hope this does not offend the owner James .it's just our opinion. Thank you

“Lovely place , bed was very comfortable, very spacious and clean .”

Outside space was great and lovely to sit on the decking with a drink watching the birds . Really restful break.

“Accommodation is as described on website, when we arrived we noticed some of the decking was broken so we informed the owner and within 10 min they were fixing the issue, I would recommend to others and also would stay again.”

“After not having a caravan holiday for over 23yrs and been loving camping over the past few years we thought let's do a caravan instead this time and aren't we glad we did!”

! We loved this caravan, quiet location, lovely people on the site who we spoke to. The caravan was great for us and we loved being able to sit in the sun on the veranda with some drinks after a few long exciting days exploring Whitby and Scarborough.. Pickering is like 3mins away in the car which had quite a few different variety of shops, pubs and a steam train station. Plenty of space in the caravan for us and an Am staff dog who enjoyed her first ever caravan holiday!! We will defo be booking this caravan again, it was a fantastic time away for us!!

“Just got back from a lovely couple of nights stay at James caravan.”

We had a wonderful time and the caravan was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The site was a great place, very peaceful and picturesque just what we wanted. My children really enjoyed the outside space where they could play and run around and even enjoyed the little children’s play ground. We enjoyed a lovely BBQ tea on the caravan deck with the sun shining. Absolutely beautiful place to stay and we look forward to booking again in the future.

“Stayed for two nights, caravan was clean and well presented.”

There is room outside the caravan for two cars . It is a clean and quiet park with two places to eat and drink within walking distance. James the owner is very approachable and makes every effort to make sure you enjoy your stay. Will definitely stay here again.

“Have stayed many times at this caravan.”

The owner is always very helpful and makes sure our stay is good. The caravan has everything you would need. There’s a good spacious living and kitchen area. Good shower. King size bedroom with separate toilet facilities. Another bedroom with twin beds. Large decking area with seating. Good value for money and we will continue to go for short breaks. There is also two pubs close by and good walks for pets.

“We stayed here with 2 children aged 9 and 5 and our border collie.”

We had the best time, lovely clean caravan with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Caravan is on a lovely plot and we enjoyed sitting on the decking. The sunloungers were a great bonus. The kids loved playing on the large grassy area next to the caravan and we went on a long walk seeing lots of hares and rabbits on the way. The 2 pubs are also great and pet friendly which was good for us. Didn’t have to use the car but did do the short drive to Cayton bay. We couldn’t have asked for more and every question was answered quickly. Due to the current situation we were a little worried but there was no need everything was clean and we had cleaning supplies and hand sanitiser left in the van for us. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy another relaxing break. Thank you.

The property

James & Mandy welcome you to our caravan at 25 the pines .

You can find us on Upper Carr Caravan Park just off A169 We are approximately 1.5 miles from Pickering historic market town centre which has lots of shops, bars, restaurants, museums and castle We are also within easy reach of Scarborugh (20m) Whitby (20m) Eden camp (5m) and flamingo land (2m).

Pickering steam train has lots of different trips which run daily in the summer months as well as annual events such as the war weekend. We would you love you to enjoy all that we have to offer in our holiday home which has tea and coffee for you on arrival two bedrooms (one king size bed en-suite and two singles) one shower room dining area inside and out lounge area with tv - Bose docking station kitchen with separate fridge and freezer microwave and toaster. To the outside we have a large decking area with table and chairs with bbq south facing for that sun into the late evening.

Bedrooms come with pillows and quilts but you will need to bring your own covers and pillow slips and towels (although bedding and towels can be provided at an extra charge) .

We are a pet friendly holiday home allowing up to 2 pets and you will also find lots of bars and places that are also pet friendly.

Spencers bar and grill is just 100 yards from Upper Carr Caravan Park entrance.

This historic market town, with its full range of amenities and traditional shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, serves as the official gateway to the beautiful North York Moors National Park, home of the Heartbeat countryside.
