It also has a pull-out double bed in the living area enabling the caravan to sleep up to 8 guests.

Bed linen is provided, and beds are made up for your arrival. With double glazing and gas central heating, you can be sure to be kept warm and the electric fire with background lighting will add to the cosiness of the caravan. We have a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and full size oven, toaster and kettle and complimentary tea, coffee and sugar. There is a spacious bathroom with an extra wide shower cubicle and a second toilet. There is a 40” smart TV and free wi-fi in the caravan.

Of course there is terrestrial T.V.

but you will need your passwords to access the apps e.g.

Netflix and Amazon Prime (remember to sign out of the apps on the day of your departure).

We also have a few board games and colouring books for the kids. Alexa is also on hand to give you some background music.

Lovely while you sit out on the veranda for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening (please don't allow Alexa to become too loud).

A few extras you will find are a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and first aid kit. Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted. We provide a travel cot and highchair upon request.

Please let us know if you require either or both and we will organize this for you.

Cot bedding is also included. Outside the caravan we have a veranda with a lockable gate and table and chairs.

We are in a quiet area but are also very close to the main amenities putting you within a 5 minute walk to the main area of the camps restaurants and entertainment. We ask that you do not smoke in the caravan, and pets are not left alone in the caravan. A security charge of £75 will be added and will be refunded within 48 hours after checkout providing there are no damages. The campsite is situated in an excellent location to venture out to surrounding areas offering the opportunity to explore the East coast including Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, Flamborough and Cayton Bay.

There are regular buses to the site. On site, there are plenty of amenities to occupy both adults and kids including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, arcades, sports centre and basketball/football courts, mini-golf, soft play and creative area, boating/fishing lake, go karts, rock climbing wall, trampolines and many playgrounds dotted around the camp.

You will find 2 bars providing entertainment situated in the main area. There is plenty of eateries including the main restaurant The Brighouse, Papa Johns pizza, Burger King, Fish & Chips and a treat shop selling ice cream, waffles and donuts.

There is also a Mini-market and gift shop.

Papa Johns and Burger King offer delivery direct to your caravan door. There are some lovely beaches in Cayton bay and Filey which are only a 5 minutes drive.

All local beaches have a nice long stretch of all year round access for dogs.

Also perfect for dog walks are the cliff top walks.

About the location

FILEY

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
