The property

Welcome to our home from home holiday caravan.

Our dog friendly 8 berth caravan offers a perfect base to explore the East Yorkshire coastline.

Our caravan is situated in a pleasant, well maintained and relatively quiet area of the site, called Westfield.

Close to the tranquil lake, where you can relax and enjoy morning strolls.

There is also a separate dog walking path.

The on site amenities are less than 5 minutes away and the caravan is adjacent to a large open green space which can be walked through to access these amenities more quickly. NEW FOR 2025 - new lounge carpet has been fitted with good quality underlay, newly upholstered dining seating area with stylish leather look wipe clean child and dog friendly hardwearing material, both toilets have been upgraded with replacement pipework (by Parkdean maintenance team), main bathroom floor has been reinforced and improved., shoe rack in kitchen (boiler) cupboard can fit plenty of shoes on this, coat rail in adjacent cupboard with hangers. Still to come for 2025 - all curtains are being replaced and upgraded.

New bedding is being installed on all beds, including all duvets, pillows, waterproof and allergen friendly bedding protectors.

Parking will be extended from the current paved driveway, to ensure 2 vehicles can park on hard standing ground.

All kitchen equipment will be checked and replenished. Skipsea Sands Holiday Park has a range of facilities which include indoor swimming pool with various fun sessions running throughout the day, steam room, sauna, gym, The Boathouse Bar and Restaurant, the Entertainment Complex, several amusements arcades, large sports hall, several outdoor kids play areas, large indoor softplay, new pool tables and air hockey tables, crazy golf, fishing lake, shop, launderette, bike hire, indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. You can choose to purchase 'entertainment passes' from Reception on site, the prices of these passes change depending on the time of year you are visiting so you are always best to check directly with Reception about the costs of these, for the most accurate information.

It is also a good idea to check what the passes allow you to access as some of our customers might not need passes to do what they are planning on doing when based from the caravan.

You do not need a pass to be simply on site, or buy food and drinks, and visit the local surrounding area etc, but you do need a pass to book onto swimming, the night-time entertainment, or book onto activities etc.

There is a Beach Club next to the site, which I have been informed has reasonable prices and also provides entertainment for kids and adults alike.

Please check with the club to find out all the information.

The village is withing walking distance and has a cosy pub which also serves food and has a carpark and outdoor seating area. Our caravan has: 1 double bedroom (with an ottoman style lift up double bed for additional storage) 2 twin rooms 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin 1 bathroom with toilet and wash basin Living room has large seating area which was newly upholstered for 2022, and contains a pull out double bed Dining area with seating area, newly upholstered for 2025, 2 stools and table Large TV with Freeview TV Gas fire Kitchen has under counter fridge/freezer, gas oven, grill, hob, electric extractor hood, all utensils and kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs Toaster and kettle Microwave Ironing board and iron A plug in freestanding radiator Henry Pet vacuum cleaner 2 x clothes drying racks Double glazed throughout Blown air heating throughout Gas, electricity and water included in the price you pay A paved parking area A separate patio area Key safe box on the caravan, no need to check in at the site office (2pm check in and 10am check out) No smoking, pet friendly, family friendly Our beds have mattress protectors on, our duvets have duvet protectors on, our pillows have pillow protectors on, all anti-allergy. We provide you with a toilet roll in each toilet, a kitchen cloth, a sponger, washing up liquid, and the 2 bins have a bin bag in already. We do not provide bedding or towels, please bring your own.

Please also consider bringing (as required) extra toilet rolls, bin bags for small and medium / large bin, hand wash, air freshener, kitchen spray, bath mats, tea towels, dog towel.

The town is known for its agricultural beauty, each year hosting the Driffield Show, one of the UK's largest and oldest one-day agricultural shows. Driffield offers a selection of attractions including Driffield Golf Club and the Millennium Green hiking area, whilst dining options include The Royal Oak, The Benjamin Fawcett, and The Spread Eagle, and you can stock up on essentials at the nearby Lidl or Tesco Superstore. Just outside of the town is the bustling town of Scarborough, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as Scarborough Castle, SEA LIFE Scarborough, and Alpamare UK.
