“We had such a lovely stay here the caravan was lovely and in my opinion sits in the perfect spot, on an evening it was lovely and quiet.”

There was plenty to do for my youngest, staff were pleasant and helpful. We took my mother along too who also had a great time. Communication has been great from start to finish. I would definitely book this caravan again

“Loved staying in this caravan this weekend .”

Lovely , spacious and very clean , with everything you need in the kitchen and comfy beds - which is rare in caravans ! It’s situated in a lovely spot over looking open fields and to the very left the sea . Nice to sit out on the decking … weather permitting! In a good position to get out to some nice places around the area . John answered the phone straight away when we had an small , easily sorted issue on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful . Definitely be going again , for longer next time !

“First time to Skipsea Sands and Johns caravan was the perfect spot for our break.”

. we had 4 children aged between 14 and 8 and the caravan was easily big enough for us all. It was in a lovely quiet part of the park with a path down to the beach but still close enough to use any facilities at the holiday park. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

“Very clean and comfortable.”

John, the owner, was very prompt to reply, and helpful on the several occasions that I emailed him. We bought entertainment passes, but weren't asked for them at all when going in to watch the entertainment. We were only asked for them when booking the swimming pool, but it's also possible to pay just for swimming, if you want to chance not buying passes. A lovely stay.

“Last stayed on this caravan site 40 years ago and it's still as nice as it always was.”

The caravan was tucked away on the quiet side of the camp and was spacious and comfortable. The site itself is conveniently located for days out in Scarborough, Filey and even Whitby. Our gas cylinder ran out on the first morning so I texted the owner who had it replaced immediately. Also, I booked for 2 nights at a great price - significantly cheaper than booking direct with Park Dean as they insist on a 3 night minimum. The only slight issue might be that there was no WiFi and little or no phone signal - not a problem for us but if you had work to do, it might be. That said, you might be able to pay for the Park Dean wifi although we didn't bother. We had a fantastic time, seriously!

“I stayed at this caravan with my family in May 2019.”

The communication with the owner was very good, he came back to me within a couple of hours and the booking process went very smoothly. The caravan is modern, nicely furnished and very clean. Although it was very cold that weekend we were very comfortable. If I would recommend anything it would be a couple of tea towels and hooks on the doors in the bedroom for dressing gowns and in the bathroom for towels.

The property

Beautiful ABI Trieste Holiday Home with 3 luxurious bedrooms, one double and 2 twin side by side beds.

Pull out bed settee in the spacious lounge.

Open plan kitchen and living area, kitchen has all mod cons including fridge and freezer, iron and George foreman grill.

The lounge features a 32"inch freeview tv with usb sockets and a dvd player.

A selection of books, toys and games are also provided. All crockery and cutlery including children's plates, cups and beakers are provided. Bedding linen not available at the moment due to covid 19 A travel cot can be provided for £20 per stay A full size walk in shower and family bathroom and also a separate WC with handbasin.

Enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda in the evening sunshine sitting at the patio table. The Holiday Home is fitted with a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector for your safety. Passes are not included in the price quoted however can be purchased from reception. All amenities only a short walk. Wifi is available but requires a subscription
