“My family and I have just returned from a 10 day break at Sue's lodge in Cayton bay,when we arrived we could not believe hoe beautiful the lodge was and so spacious even down to a walk in clothes area in the main bedroom which was also en-siite the main living area was so spacious,I have been on lodge holidays before but none as good as this ,there was everything absolutely everything you could think of and need to make our holiday and Sue was always at the end of the phone if I needed advice on anything,we will certainly be booking with Sue for her Lodge in the future.”

“We had such a lovely, brilliant stay in this lodge.”

It’s in a quieter part of the holiday park which is absolute bliss for those needing peace and relaxation from busy life schedules but totally within easy walking distance of the main amenities - show bar, pub/restaurant, site shop, amusements, play park, etc. The lodge itself is very comfortable, modern, clean and spacious. Has a homely and family feel with its decor. The lodge is clearly well-looked after as it’s immaculate. This made our stay even more exciting and special. Lots of room for our family of 4 with every piece of equipment you could ever need including bottle opener, egg cups, toilet roll, tea towels, baking trays and the rest! Lots of places for storage of personal items too. Large walk in wardrobe in the double room was a winner for us and our collection of ikea bags! The host, Sue, was super responsive and helpful upon booking and sent useful information about check ins, check outs, heating function, key locks etc. We had an ace time and will be back! “Lovely luxurious lodge, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, spacious plot with wraparound decking, and so much more.”

You really have to experience a stay in this lodge to fully understand and appreciate what is on offer! Luxury, comfort, fully equipped, cleanliness and much more which made our stay so relaxing and stress free. We really enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be booking up again soon. Very reasonably priced for what you get, close to the main complex but out of the way enough for privacy and quiet. Ideally located for Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and a short drive to Whitby. Lovely clean and well maintained site, the best Parkdean site we've been to. Overall lodge is 5 star and a great location.

This is more than a 5* lodge! As a family we’ve stayed in a variety of accommodations through out the years, but this lodge plays second to none. It is pure luxury to stay in and is well equipped throughout. The finishing touches are simply beautiful. Sue was extremely accommodating and professional from the moment we booked our (luxurious getaway) to the very end. “Absolutely beautiful lodge.”

Love all the little touches and love the diffusers and ornaments, if felt like being at home as we have some of these at home! Absolutely gorgeous touches. Spacious bedrooms and massive open plan living/kitchen/dining area. Gorgeous veranda and a nice quiet location, we saw lots of rabbits hopping around which my toddler loved. Everything supplied that you could ever want or need. Really handy to have the utility area with washing machine and really spacious dressing room in the main bedroom. Really liked the fact the lodge has its own parking space and washing line and little garden area. Will definitely book again. Great contact from the owner, very friendly and very quick to respond to emails. Thank you!

Beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything you could want. Wi-Fi was good, communication with owner was excellent. We have stayed in some really nice lodges but this one is second to none. Parking is excellent, nice and quiet location. Pictures don’t do it justice. We love Scarborough and this would be our first lodge to go to if available. Thank you Sue and martyn

“Out of this world.”

.. would be an understatement. This is quite simply sheer luxury. From the minute I contacted the owner to enquire it was outstanding in every way. The accommodation was top class, immaculate and all you could want for. I would have no hesitation to recommend this place. Great location and we were surprised with how many beautiful beaches it sits near. The park itself has all been refurbished and looks very up to date. Our family had a wonderful holiday. If you stay here, suggest you visit The Farrier which is an outstanding pub / restaurant around the corner. Thanks to the owners for making this accommodation available to stay in. “If you are looking for simply the best quality lodge you can find well look no further, this is it!”

Everything about this accommodation is top spec and you will not want for anything. The attention to detail is wonderful from the accessories and soft furnishings even down to the beautiful smelling hand wash and lotion in the bathroom and the scented reids dotted around every where. We were truly stunned when we first walked in, it really does have the wow factor. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and always responded promptly to any emails making the enquiry and booking procedure quick and easy. There was only one downside to our break and that was we didn't want to leave. This will be our new favourite home from home and we cant wait to return. Thank you so much.

The location is excellent, Cayton Bay beach is spectacular and only a ten minute walk from the lodge. The lodge itself is immaculate. It comfortably accommodated four adults and was very well appointed - it had absolutely everything we needed during our stay. It was located in a quiet part of the park which made for a restful stay. We would highly recommend to others.

I've been going to cayton since I was a baby and it is by far the best lodge I have stayed in, super clean and cosy with everything you could possibly need, couldn't fault a thing, easy to book and to get in contact with the owners who are lovely and friendly and had no problems at all. On arrival the location was easy to find and it was located in a quite area of the park. It was immaculately clean and smelled glorious due to the various reed diffusers. The standards of the furnishings were very high and the kitchen was wells stocked with all the hardware you will need. Sue was great at communicating and everything went to plan. We would love to stay again at some time in the future.

THE LODGE EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS - IT WAS SHEER BLISS! MUCH THOUGHTFUL CONSIDERATION HAS BEEN APPLIED BY THE OWNERS TO ENSURE THAT ANYONE STAYING AT THEIR LODGE HAS A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE. THE LODGE IS FINELY DECORATED AND FINELY FURNISHED WITH MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY FEATURES. IT WAS WONDERFUL HAVING A FULL-SIZE BATH AS WELL AS AN ENSUITE WHICH HAD ITS OWN SHOWER ENCLOSURE. THE KITCHEN AREA COMPRISED OF AN ISLAND UNIT, DISHWASHER, FRIDGE FREEZER AND DOUBLE OVEN. THE MASTER BEDROOM HAD A WALK-IN WARDROBE, KINGSIZE BED, FLATSCREEN TV AND ATTACHED TO THE BEDROOM WAS A SPACIOUS ENSUITE. IT DEFINITELY APPEARS THAT SUE WANTS TO GIVE HER GUESTS AN ENJOYABLE AND WORRY-FREE STAY, SHE SWIFTLY GAVE US BOOKING IN INFORMATION AS SOON AS SHE RECEIVED PAYMENT AND WHAT WAS LOVELY, WAS THAT SHE HAD PROGRAMMED THE CENTRAL HEATING TO COME ON SO WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE LODGE IT WAS LOVELY AND WARM. INITIALLY, I WAS UNSURE ABOUT STAYING IN A LODGE AT WINTER TIME, HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO NEED TO BE CONCERNED AS THE LODGE WAS ALWAYS SNUG AND WARM (NEVER DID I FEEL COLD). IN FACT, WE WOULD LOVE TO RETURN NEXT YEAR AT THE SAME TIME. THANKS, SUE AND MARTYN FOR OUR WONDERFUL STAY!

“Well just WOW ?”

??? We have been coming to Cayton Bay since my lads were 5 and they are now 15 and this was the best Caravan we have EVER stayed in. All the room you could ever wish for. Two great showers and a much needed washing machine. Sue answered every question I had with quick replies and was so accommodating. Even the week of rain couldn’t spoil our holiday with somewhere so comfortable to hang out. Was really sad to go home. Thank you Sue and Martyn. Will hopefully be back. Xx

“On arrival we were presented a superb looking lodge nestled ln a quite, yet easily accessable part of the camp.”

On opening the door we were all taken aback with the beautifully laid out accommodation, spacious does not do it justice it was roomy and light. The master suite was to die for, a roomy 2nd bedroom and a sizable family bathroom, all to the highest standards. The living facilities were 2nd to none, it had everything you could require for a fun or relaxing holiday all mod cons. The kitchen was immaculate with all you'd need & more. Each morning the sundrenched veranda called us to eat our breakfast outside. And on leaving after our short break we all said that we'd love to hire this holiday home again & again, definitely the best holiday home we've stayed in.

Easy no hassle booking with Sue. The lodge is stunning, it has everything you would need. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with dining area. Well spaced veranda with seating depending on weather!! Both bedrooms are a generous size, with a good size bathroom and ensuite. The site is well situated between Scarborough and Filey with bus stop outside the entrance. Lovely break away, the lodge comes highly recommended. Sue, Jim and Charlie.

We were really impressed with the interior - beautifully decorated and excellent facilities. It was very comfortable and spacious and the children wanted to move in permanently! Cayton Bay was a great base for trips to the beach at Filey and Scarborough Castle and we were lucky to have good weather the whole time we were there. Sue has been incredibly helpful and personable throughout the whole process. This is our first holiday in a lodge/caravan and we’d love to come back again. Thank you very much Sue.

“Wow...”

where do I start?? I think the fact our 5 year old daughter didn’t want to go to the Show bar says it all! She wanted to stay in this beautiful lodge forever!. From the moment of booking we received first class service, nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived at the lodge we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings, but that was nothing compared to the interior! This lodge looks like a show home, everything is of the highest spec! It’s the added extras that make your stay feel like a home from home. I cannot recommend this lodge enough, every aspect is outstanding. We will definatly be returning!

“I cannot praise the accommodation highly enough.”

The chalet was so spacious with every convenience you could wish for. We had a fantastic break with my 93 old mother. Everything felt new and clean and the owners have put lots of thought into providing extra touches to cater for your every need. Lovely kitchen, crockery and glasses. It felt like 5* accommodation and greatly enhanced our break. The position is very quiet, enabling you to totally relax and unwind. Both seating and beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept soundly during our stay. This was my first experience of staying in a caravan and it will certainly not be my last, although we have been spoilt in this accommodation. Stayed in this beautiful lodge fantastic location on park massive veranda with garden furniture had amazing weather so was great to sit out and relax with a few drinks to unwind after a busy day in Scarborough the lodge is huge inside with everything you need dishwasher washer/dryer huge built in fridge freezer breakfast bar table and chairs that seats six two huge bedrooms king size and a room with singles or can go togeather to make double also double pull out in living room king size has on suite with shower wc and basin very spacious also walk in wardrobe which was fab it also has a huge main bathroom with bath over head shower toilet basin and wc massive aswell living room was so comfortable with huge tv freeview and huge sofas I’ve stayed on all the parks for over 25 years stayed in many vans/lodges and got to say it was the best we’ve stayed in sue is really friendly things went very smooth easy check in we will defiantly be back x
