Premium sea view. The owners made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Lots of extras like cleaning stuff, tea coffee salt pepper sauces surprise basket filled with many lovely goodies not forgetting treats and dishes etc for our dog. We did take a few ‘throws’ in case dog jumped on furniture, he loved the window seat sat starring the beautiful sea view. Would certainly recommend.

“The first thing you’ll notice is the absolutely stunning view—closely followed by the thoughtful welcome basket waiting for you on arrival.”

This caravan is beautifully kept and packed with little extras that have definitely set the bar high for the rest of my bookings this year! From condiments to tea, coffee, sugar, and even cleaning products—everything has been considered. I can’t count how many times I’ve forgotten to pack the salt, but not to worry here—this place has it all covered. The only downside (which isn’t the owner’s fault) is that I’m with EE and had no mobile signal at all. But once I got past that, I used the included WiFi, which worked perfectly well. All in all, I’d highly recommend staying here—it’s a lovely spot with lots of thoughtful touches.

“My work colleague and I booked this caravan for a relaxing few days to escape work.”

We didn't bank on the snow and below freezing temperatures, but the caravan heating was on when we arrived which was lovely. The view of the sea was what made us choose this caravan and although the weather was freezing, pouring with rain and dull, we could see the sea and that was just perfect. The huge welcome package was a total surprise and such a nice touch. The caravan was kitted out with everything we needed and Amanda was on the end of the phone when we had a question. Lovely caraven, lovely view and lovely hosts. We hope to return when the weather is better. Thanks so much.

“Just back from a short break in this wonderful caravan with amazing views and we certainly didn't want to leave.”

From start to finish the owners are extremely helpful, friendly and provide an abundance of information to help the trip go smoothly, The caravan itself is in the most amazing position and the owners have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. The area is a nice quiet spot to just sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking views - can honestly say we all never thought of the stresses of work from the minute we arrived. “Lovely view from the caravan, we saw roe deer, watched boats out at sea and saw a helicopter arrive at the cafe.”

The onsite shop was within walking distance to get a newspaper and stock up on supplies and lots of dog friendly walks from the door. Just a few miles away we enjoyed visiting Flamborough Head and seeing seals and puffins, and of course Bempton Cliffs for an assault on the senses.! Good local places to eat where we were made very welcome along with Tilly the dog. Perfect caravan in stunning location.

The caravan was beautiful, very clean and modern. Everything you needed was available from washing up liquid to toys for youngsters. Beds also made up on arrival. Lovely touch was the doggy chocolate, sweets for kids and fizz for the adults. Very easy to book, communication is excellent.

Wide open grass land right outside the caravan door for the dogs to run and explore. The caravan was clean and fresh and the dogs spent their time lounging on the balcony safe and secure. Amanda was swift with her emails, very professional. We had lovely weather so were spoilt. Will definitely book again. Thank you Amanda for having us and our 2 fur babies. ????????????????????

“We had a fabulous 4 day break in this beautiful caravan.”

It's got we had strong winds, rain & snow. The location is amazing, the view just blew me away. We walked every day, Bempton, North Landing and the lighthouse but every afternoon we got back opened a bottle of wine and lost our selves in view.. Its some where we will definitely be returning.. “We arrived at the caravan to be met by the glorious sea view, what a start!”

The caravan has everything you could need for dining in, if you should wish. The lounge area is comfortable with tv and of course that amazing view. The bedrooms are lovely, we only required the double, the bed was like home from home, very cosy indeed. We explored the cliff top walks which are accessible from the caravan site which left us a little windswept at this time of year, also around the lighthouse where apart from many species of seabirds we also saw sea lions. We spent a day in York because we like our history but also visited local towns such as Filey and Bridlington. We didn’t use the site facilities but we did see that there is plenty for families to do. We would heartily recommend this and if we return to the area, this is where we will definitely stay.

“Our weekend away couldn't have gone any smoother!”

We had such a lovely time and the caravan was pristine. It is in an ideal spot for stunning sunset and sunrise walks along the cliffs, and easy to get down to the beach to explore. My kids loved the rock pools! Beautiful view and the caravan had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely couple who email back very promptly and customer service was excellent. Would definitely recommend, thank you Amanda and Anthony, I imagine we'll book with you again shortly.

“We had a week in this excellent caravan, which is located on the Thornwick Bay site.”

The views are stunning, even on a couple of rainy days we were happy just looking out to sea watching the world and ships go by! The caravan is very comfortable, and the site has all the amenities you would need a huge bar and grill restaurant with great breakfasts, and a good size Co Op store, open late every night. The number 14 bus also stops at the site entrance dropping you into Bridlington in just 15/20 minutes. A great holiday, the break was just what we needed, and excellent communication with the owners. Look forward to going back to stay in the future.

“Perfect Weekend Break!”

Van is sited in a great spot for fab sea views, We had daily visits from a couple of goldfinches and even spotted a barn owl from the comfort of the van. We have visited site frequently since 2016 and this is one of the nicest locations we have been in. The van has everything you could possibly need. and the welcome gifts were appreciated by all, the break was just what we needed after a not so great year! hopefully be back for another stay in the not too distance future. thanks again Lisa

This was our first pet friendly caravan and we were nervous of how it would differ from the caravans we used to stay in, but there was no need to worry. The best compliment I can say is that I would have no hesitation to stay in this caravan without a pet. A lovely welcome gift for all of us when we arrived, which is a lovely touch and the sea view is just stunning. The caravan was lovely and clean and all the furnishings were in excellent condition. We will definitely stay again as we love Thornwick and now we can add this caravan to our list.

We are on the newly established "Thornwick Bay country park by the sea Holiday Village", a Haven site that has had a £10M investment in 2016 another £4M investment in 2017.

Our holiday home is situated on the front row of Turnstone with the most amazing, panoramic, uninterrupted sea views!

It's position is quiet and relaxing but also only a short walk to all the amenities.

You will also benefit from double glazing, central heating, 2 bedrooms which includes one double bedroom with dual en-suite bathroom and 1twin bedroom.

We have free WiFi, a high spec Tv, FreeSat, DVD and various games for those cosy, relaxing evenings or those good old rainy English days.

The site is in an amazing location with the village of Flamborough near by which is jam packed with some lovely traditional dog friendly pubs and serve fabulous home cooked meals and some of the most breathtaking walks in the country.

Whatever you enjoy there's something for everyone to make it the perfect holiday stay for one and all. ***The caravan has current Gas and Electric Certificates and all Gas Appliances are serviced annually and electric appliances have been PAT tested.

There are also smoke alarms & carbon monoxide detectors fitted.

The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the East Coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Housing traditional fishermen's cottages and a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are spectacular cliffs, which form an eight mile stretch of Heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, stand two historic lighthouses, one of which is the oldest one in Britain, built in 1674. To the north of the village, the magnificent 400 feet high cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England. Discover the puffins at Bempton, follow the fascinating natural trails at South Landing and the wooded ravine at Danes Dyke, or explore the smugglers’ caves at North Landing.
