“We have just stayed in this lovely caravan with our boxer George.”

Just want to say a big thank you to Sue and Gary from booking to arrival they where so helpful and answered any questions we had. The pictures of the caravan don’t do it justice it’s beautiful. We loved the enclosed garden which had table and chairs with an umbrella should it be needed. The caravan was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The full-size fridge freezer was a bonus kitchen was very well equipped with more than enough utensils etc. Beds where very comfortable and lots of storage in bedrooms (loads of coat hangers). The shower was fab unlike some where the water just trickled out ! Over all we had a fantastic week in a lovely caravan we have already booked for next year. Karen Jim and George

“We had a lovely week,, caravan was very clean , comfortable and had everything we needed.”

It was lovely having an enclosed area so the dogs had freedom to go in and out as they wanted. Sue was lovely and nothing was too much trouble replying to our emails straight away. The site was great, lovely friendly staff and it’s situated in an ideal place, just a few min drive to Filey and Scarborough... We will definitely be booking again for next year.

Handy location to get to Scarborough and Filey. Stayed here with husband, 3 older children and 3 small dogs. It is a dog friendly site. Facilities good. Would recommend. ????

The property

The caravan has 2 bedrooms. A double with an en-suite toilet. A bedroom with twin beds, which can be turned into a double. The living room has a pull out bed. Duvets and pillows are provided but we ask you to bring your own linen Gas and electricity are included in the price. It also has an enclosed garden area. The site has a small club with a conservatory allowing dogs.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
