    “We have just come back from a lovely holiday at Denise's caravan , the caravan is so well equipped with everything you need and the views from the veranda are beautiful it was so nice to sit there in a morning with a cup of coffee 0ur 2 dogs loved the freedom of the enclosed veranda and our granddaughter enjoyed the selection of games and beach toys available to use .”

The property

Our Swift Bordeaux caravan is the perfect base for a lovely getaway.

Nestled in the quiet and spacious Lakeside area of Reighton Sands you can sit on the wrap around veranda and look out over the unspoilt view of Filey Bay.

The caravan is equipped with all you’ll need.

The spacious living area has tv, and gas fire (although the central heating makes it warm and cosy) with plenty of seating for all.

The kitchen has all crockery, pots, pans and utensils that you’ll need as well as a full sized fridge freezer and dining table.

There are three bedrooms.

The double has plenty of storage, a tv/dvd and en suite toilet and hand basin.

The other two twin bedrooms have storage in each.

The main bathroom has a large walk in shower.

Our caravan is our holiday home from home and we are sure that anyone staying will find it comfortable and it’s location ideal for the park and the surrounding area.

There are family games and dvds which we are happy for you to use.

The beds will be made up ready for your arrival.

The beach is a 10 minute walk away with a cafe close by.

Filey is a short drive away and there is a regular bus service from the park to Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington.

A £50 refundable deposit is taken at booking to secure your dates.

Full payment is required 10 days before arrival.

The £50 deposit will be refunded after the caravan has been cleaned and inspected after your visit.

Any damage, breakages or missing items will be charged for and as a result some or all of the deposit will not be refunded.

Passes to the complex are not included in the price but can be purchased from the park reception.

We operate a key box system so there is no queuing for keys.

Arrival 3.00pm Departure 10.00am.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

About the location

FILEY

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
