“Took our grandson here again this year as he said he never wants to go anywhere else and I quite agree.”

Beautiful caravan with everything you may need. Quiet location away from but only 10 min leisurely walk to all facilities. He loved the Haven Ranger activities, swimming, archery and of course the beach at Filey. Reighton beach here lovely too and usually a tractor bus to bring you back up the hill. We loved the quiet location and of course the luxury of this caravans inside and outside facilities in the evening. Show early evening great for children and all the family ????. See you next year ...

“Absolutely beautiful caravan.”

So clean, tidy and equipped with everything we needed for two young children. We loved our stay, perfect location with just a short walk to the beach, and pool/entertainment centre. Couldn't have asked for more and will be booking again. Thank you.

The caravan had everything we needed, it was spotless and very comfortable. Situated in a perfect place. Very quiet, good views and short distance to the facilities. Lovely seating areas outside. The welcome pack was very kind and much appreciated. We had a great stay and would recommend this caravan.

“We are just back home from a weeks holiday in this lovely comfortable caravan.”

On arrival, we instantly felt ‘at home’. The caravan was extremely well presented, immaculately clean, with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. and is situated on a spacious, quieter part of the site with a sea view. Close by, is a steep path down to the beach. It is very steep but well worth the effort once you get down there. If you don't fancy the trek back up, you can walk along the beach towards the main part of the site where there is another path down and a mini bus will take you back up to the top. There is also a coastal footpath with amazing views. All in all we have had a much needed relaxing break and would love to come back again next year.

“Just back from a wonderful 4 days at Chris & Katie’s beautiful caravan and it was everything we could have wished for.”

Thank you for the generous welcome pack too. Very comfortable for sitting, eating and sleeping and lovely to have the decking furniture. We were lucky with the weather 3 days too, so used our small portable bbq which our 7 year old grandson liked. Plenty of activities and entertainment so we didn’t use the car at all. Walked lots but recommend using the Haven beach path down to the beach and tractor cart back ???? as it’s very steep. The nearer path is broken up at the end. We will definitely be back next year as our grandson says he only ever wants to come here in future.

It was a lovely elegant caravan and immaculately clean. There was everything provided that we would need over the weekend and the owners left us a welcome pack for which we were very grateful. The grandchildren had a lovely time. We thoroughly recommend this caravan.

“We are a family of 6 with 2 teenagers and 2 year old twins.”

The caravan had everything we needed and was immaculate throughout. Little touches such as tea, coffee and chocolates on arrival were a lovely surprise and made us feel very welcome. It's slightly off the main site but this just means it's lovely and quiet. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the main complex for swimming and entertainment. There's a little (steep) path that takes you down to the beach 2 minutes away. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this caravan.

Our holiday home can be found on The Sands area of Reighton Sands.

We fell in love with The Sands as it is set apart from the main site, yet still a 5 min walk to all the entertainment.

The Lovely Sea view, cliff top walk and quiet area for children to play is what makes it so special each summer. We have owned our holiday home for three years, it has been a perfect base to explore the surrounding area, along with many weekends parking the car up and never leaving the camp. We have ample decking space to the front of our holiday home and to the side so there is always a sunny spot to be found. Our Holiday home features: 1x Master bedroom with double bed and dressing area and wall mounted Tv 2 x Twin bedroom, one with wall mounted TV Pullout bed in the lounge. 8 berth. Double glazing. Central heating. Electric fire in the lounge. Free WIFI. 40 “ Flat screen TV in the lounge with freeview for your entertainment. Fully equipped. Enough cutlery & crockery for up to 8 people. Full size integrated fridge/freezer. Washing machine. Dishwasher. 2x toilets French doors lead onto a full front and side UPVC veranda with gate. Outdoor seating. Sea views. Hardstanding parking spot. Sited in a quiet cul de sac location set away from the main park. No pets allowed. Entertainment Passes are not included but can be purchased from reception.

A pass is not required to use The Hawkswood Bar or The Arcades.

Beds can be made up for arrival, or you can bring your own bedding.

FILEY

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
