“I miss this caravan already!”

!!!!! This caravan is located in a quiet and tranquil area of the park, with the best views of the sea that I have ever seen! We stayed for 4 nights, I oh so wish we could have stayed a lot, lot longer!!! It was so hard to tear ourselves away from those lovely views- absolutely breathtaking!!! If you need to get away from it all and find peace by the sea, this is the caravan that will tick all the boxes!! Very comfortable caravan, very home from home. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was ...

!!!!! This caravan is located in a quiet and tranquil area of the park, with the best views of the sea that I have ever seen! We stayed for 4 nights, I oh so wish we could have stayed a lot, lot longer!!! It was so hard to tear ourselves away from those lovely views- absolutely breathtaking!!! If you need to get away from it all and find peace by the sea, this is the caravan that will tick all the boxes!! Very comfortable caravan, very home from home. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was well equipped and shower was great! 2 toilets- bonus! The beach was fantastic, large sandy bay. Water clean and perfect for swimming and boarding. We also walked all the way to Filey along the coast- 3 miles to the lovely seaside town. The path to the beach is short but very steep- we walked it, but there is a free tractor/ train that takes you up and down regularly. The park is ideal for families, lots of amenities- mini Market, pub/ restaurant, entertainment, play area, indoor/outdoor pool etc. Kids activities. But the caravan for us was just the perfect location in which to unwind, relax, visit the local area and just to get away from the hustle bustle of life!! We will definitely return but maybe next time, stay a bit longer!! Sue, Dave and Ben.

“My friend and I just back from a week away in this lovely caravan.”

Met by Cath and Steve and made very welcome, even bought us milk for our first cuppa. Lovely comfortable caravan, spotless clean and everything you needed for our stay. The views from the caravan are spectacular, and the decking is ideal for sitting out enjoying them. Would recommend and will definitely book again.

Clean, welcoming and so homely. Has everything you could need for a holiday in a caravan. Cannot fault the setting with wonderful views of Filey Bay and the sea. The solar lights on the verandar on a night are simply stunning. So jealous of all who go and stay in this caravan as it is one that I would honestly love to own myself.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
