Wilsthorpe is a modest hamlet resting on the coast of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Sitting on the fringes of Fraisthorpe beach and offering picturesque seascapes, it's the perfect place for your next holiday by the sea. The hamlet is home to a shop, pub and café, as well as the Belvedere Circle making a wonderful spot to roam in the summer months where you can sit and absorb your scenery with an ice cream in hand before venturing into nearby Bridlington. The coastal town of Bridlington, known as "The Lobster Capital of Europe", makes a fantastic day out for all ages. Get lost in its rich history through taking a stroll along the pre-Roman harbour and venturing through its beautiful Old Town. Home to the 2016 Dad's Army film, here you will find the Augustinian Priory, Bayle Museum and Harbour Heritage Museum, all promising fun-filled way to spend your time here, with plenty of astounding architecture and historic spots to explore. Or simply explore the many eateries on offer in the town including cafés, restaurants and pubs, before getting lost in the unique shopping experiences on offer varying from fashion stores to antique shops. Within reach is the RSPB Bempton Cliffs Seabird Centre, a true spectacle to be seen with around half a million seabirds gathering between the months of March and October, it's well-worth a visit if not just to take in the views of the North Sea. Visit the port city of Hull offers its own aquarium, the Streetlife museum and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to spend a family day out, or head to York to be met by a whole host of attractions and history including its Shambles from the Middle Ages providing quaint shops and a great trip for the Harry Potter enthusiast, alongside its Gothic-style Minster tales of ghosts and evidence of Vikings; it provides experiences of all kinds!
