We needed a pet friendly van for Alfie our retriever also. You don’t know quite what to expect with a pet friendly but wow you wouldn’t think any pet had ever entered it was super. A positive home from home nothing you wouldn’t find in your own home. Thank you Donna ????????????

“A lovely 2 bedroom caravan with good facilities.”

Large TV in lounge with extra stations. Internet access. Small decking area and additional seating with table on patio. Parking for 1 car. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Passes for facilities are an additional cost and in my opinion a bit pricey, however that is not controlled by the caravan owner.

“We were blown away by the attention to detail that Donna and Glenn had provided.”

There was everything you could possibly need for your stay. Cooker was spotlessly clean and efficient, shower had perfect pressure and was a hot temperature if needed. The bedrooms are a good size, comfortable beds with immaculate linen and plenty storage with an ironing board if needed. The lounge is well kitted out with WiFi which is handy for streaming - Netflix etc all available. When you go outside there is a decking area with comfy looking chairs though the weather was a bit cool for that In March. There's also a picnic table right outside the steps. We used our own mobile data and 5G / 4G coverage is very good in the area if you have kids. The site is exceptionally well run and I would recommend a stay here in a heartbeat. “Fantastic staycation!”

! My family and I booked within weeks of our stay and will be booking Donna’s van again!! The van is beautiful and really immaculately cleaned and cared for. Under the sink had everything you need to keep the space spotless and there is even a bag of dog treats as a welcome, which our Vizsla absolutely loved. Our children slept perfectly well and warm in the double room and the fact we had prime, Netflix and Disney+ on an evening made it easy to choose a family movie before bed. The master bed itself was very comfortable and the room is very spacious. I also can’t stress enough how we thought the position of the van is perfect for a family as it has a small green directly in front for playing with a ball. The plots patios is set up with seating so once you park up, you really do have everything you need. Donna has thought of everything, which is wonderful. We had a welcome pack with everything from activities to takeout food, pub times and shops to help find your bearings quickly. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we hope to return soon. Stayed at haggerston castle lots of times and never been as close to the complex. It is visible from bedroom window but still far enough away to be very quiet. The caravan is modern and immaculate, always been frightened to book pet friendly but you would never know that this caravan allows pets. Equipped with lovely smart tv in living room and bedroom with wifi, iron & board, hoover, hairdryer Will definitely be back Thank you again for having such a lovely caravan.

The caravan is absolutely stunning, very well stocked with everything we needed (although we packed our own cleaning products and toilet roll ect there was plenty in the van already) which we did not have when booked with previous private owner. It's a very short walk to the main facilities. The seating area outside was lovely in the sun. The owner gave us all the information we needed and kept us really well informed of what the processes were and information we needed for our stay. Definitely will book again ????

Friendly & informative & punctual. The caravan was the loveliest caravan we have stayed in, loving it so much I re-booked it immediately! Great location for the mini Market but not too close so it was a quiet spot but good for people watching too as they passed by. Donna was very informative on what was available due to the restrictions and I managed to book evening entertainment every night before our break away as well as an activity each morning. It was a beautiful laid out place to stay with everything you could possibly need and only a short walk to the main facilities/shopping area. We found everything we need and it made a great base to explore the glorious Northumberland Coast. The kids all loved the camp out feel but with added luxury, at a good price. We had a great weekend all round and we will definately hire again through Donna however maybe without the children as they cramped our style! Lol. Thanks Donna for a lovely stress free stay!

The property

Our beautiful caravan consists of open plan living - lounge, well fitted kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer, dining area, 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area The master bedroom is extremely spacious consisting of a king size bed, full size double wardrobe, dressing table with drawers, bed side tables and a small chest of drawers, 32inch smart TV(with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video installed and ready to view). We have a large toilet and shower room 43inch Smart TV in living area with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video all ready to watch, there is also a remote controlled electric fire in the lounge. Caravan also boasts central heating and double glazing.

Great outside patio area to the entrance of the van with secure decking to the front we are situated on a sunny corner plot, and it also has its own private grassy area on the other side of the van. We DO NOT look onto another van instead we have lovely views of a garden/ grassy area which you can watch your children play games or have picnics Extras: Free unlimited Wi-Fi, Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video installed and ready to view, USB ports in both bedrooms, board games, Iron and Iron board , hair dryer. PETS ARE ALLOWED ONLY AT OWNER'S DISCRETION. Can you please also let us know what type of dog have, only certain types are allowed on the park A small charge of £25 per dog per booking is chargeable upon owner approval.

About the location

BEAL

Holy Island 2 miles; Berwick 9 miles.

Beal is a tiny hamlet in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a mile away from the causeway to Holy Island. This scattered hamlet, known locally as the gateway to Lindisfarne, is in an ideal position for touring North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Within easy reach of the A1, Beal has good access to all of the area's attractions - wonderful beaches, historic castles and Holy Island, which is just two miles away. Those who enjoy the great outdoors will be delighted with the Northumbrian Coastal Trail, which runs through Beal and onwards down the Heritage Coast offering stunning scenery along the way. Beal is within easy reach of both St Oswald's Way and St Cuthbert's Way and there are some great birdwatching sites nearby. Seahouses is close by or you can spend a day visiting Farne Island by boat where you may catch a glimpse of seals and puffins. The golden sandy beaches at Beal are home to many seals and seabirds, plus The Barn at Beal is an excellent attraction for birdwatching and has a first class coffee shop, farm shop and restaurant.
