“My husband and I visited last week with our two grandsons, along with my sister and her son.”
The accommodation was very good although I do have a few suggestions (not complaints), within the shower room there is nowhere for towels, a rail or hook would be great. The kitchen could do with a chopping board to save worktops and one of the twin rooms has one bed bigger than other leaving no room at all between the beds. We did not spend a lot of time actually at Haggerston Castle as I was not too impressed by the camp, found it to be overly expensive. We went to Berwick Leisure Centre ...

We did not spend a lot of time actually at Haggerston Castle as I was not too impressed by the camp, found it to be overly expensive. We went to Berwick Leisure Centre which was fantastic, the pool was great for boys, ages 11, 7 and 4, all had fun. The soft play there was also good and prices reasonable, the staff were lovely and helpful. We all spent a day at Seahouses on the beach which was lovely. All not too far from base. The boys did go horse riding at Haggerston which they loved but was very expensive, although probably will be needed for the upkeep of the lovely horses. For the time we spent in the caravan it suited.our needs, was in a nice quiet area and was great for the boys.
