    “Lovely spacious lodge centrally located for visiting the various castles/attractions along the coast line.”

    Needs a little bit of attention to maintenance and cleaning but nothing too drastic to spoil your stay. Nice site with good facilities and a choice of eateries.

The property

This exceptional lodge which sits beautifully in Castle Lakes, a quiet area of Haggerston Castle.

The lodge has 2 sofas in the lounge where you can watch the free standing TV.

The lounge has French doors that open onto the veranda.

The dining table for 6 and the fully fitted kitchen has a fitted fridge freezer, double oven, 4 ring hob, sink and draining board, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the pots and pans you will need whilst on holiday.

Mobile broadband is included There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double which has a range of drawers and wardrobes and dressing table and stool.

There is also a handy en-suite with shower, toilet and wash basin.

The other 2 bedrooms are twins Both rooms are fitted with wardrobes There is also a bathroom that has a large shower and large sink for you. The Lodge has a veranda two sides, where you can sit and enjoy the views and a glass of wine.

There are table and chairs for you to use and the veranda has a safe balustrades and a lockable gate.

This Lodge is a 5 minute walk to the main entertainment area You will need a Fun Works Pass to enjoy the facilities.

These are available from the main Haven reception at an additional cost.

The park has 2 indoor pools, one with a slide.

There is the Live Lounge which has entertainment during the day and night for all the family.

The Mash and Barrel is a restaurant and bar with a large open air terraced area overlooking the park and lake.

There is a Papa Johns Pizza take away, Burger King and a fish and chip shop on site too as well as a Chinese Restaurant and a cafe on the golf course.

The amusement arcade is also located at the main area and is always a favourite with adults and children.

Bookings: Lake Lodge is available for 3 night weekend breaks , 4 night mid week breaks and week breaks that can run from Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday.......other options can also be available To book there is a £50 non-refundable deposit which secures the booking.

Full balance is due six weeks prior to your holiday. The owners reserve the right to re-hire if full payment has not been made by the due date, and the deposit will be lost. There is also a £50 refundable damage deposit due with the balance. Passes: Not included in the price can be purchased at main reception. Provisional bookings will be held for 36 hours. Ownership of caravan verification provided if required.

BEAL

Holy Island 2 miles; Berwick 9 miles.

Beal is a tiny hamlet in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a mile away from the causeway to Holy Island. This scattered hamlet, known locally as the gateway to Lindisfarne, is in an ideal position for touring North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Within easy reach of the A1, Beal has good access to all of the area's attractions - wonderful beaches, historic castles and Holy Island, which is just two miles away. Those who enjoy the great outdoors will be delighted with the Northumbrian Coastal Trail, which runs through Beal and onwards down the Heritage Coast offering stunning scenery along the way. Beal is within easy reach of both St Oswald's Way and St Cuthbert's Way and there are some great birdwatching sites nearby. Seahouses is close by or you can spend a day visiting Farne Island by boat where you may catch a glimpse of seals and puffins. The golden sandy beaches at Beal are home to many seals and seabirds, plus The Barn at Beal is an excellent attraction for birdwatching and has a first class coffee shop, farm shop and restaurant.
