The caravan was lovely. Modern and spacious, we very much enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the safe, well kept space around the caravan to play while we relaxed and enjoyed our time away aswell in peace : D

Owners quick to respond to our questions. The caravan was ideally situated on the site and great location for visits to Holy Island, Seahouses, Berwick, Eyemoth and St Abbs. Fabulous walks close by and stuning beaches . The caravan had everything we required. Thank you Marion and Keith we hope to return again soon.

“Lovely caravan and near golf course if your a golfer.”

Aldo near the pkay park. Ideal if i come back with my granddaughtet. Also near club house for evening entertainment. Not far from cafe. Clean and comfirtabke. Great as had two full bathrooms. Would have loved if one with batg had a shower screen to use as a second shower. . Great caravan .

Very spacious and modern. Had everything we needed. The location of the lodge was ideal about 5-8mins to main complex. Communication with owners was perfect. The park has loads to offer for all ages. Great weekend. We hope to return in the future.

It has everything you.need lovely comfy beds and set in lovely surroundings and just far enough away from main area but not too far to walk Sky Tv and Netflix a bonus as well as having a bath and large en suite, two double beds are great for us so we have been here lots of times and will book again

“Wasn't really anywhere to put up travel cot in bedrooms and no mattress.”

Also floor was bit dirty. In spite of minor things we had a great stay. Lodge was very nice and would book it again. Know it is a self catering holiday but don't think it would be too much to leave a four pack of toilet rolls included in price and a spare black bag as we had nappies. We also walked to badgers restaurant but didn't get served which we weren't aware of. An information pack would be handy. Thank you May

“This is a fantastic lodge it’s well appointed is furnished to a high spec with everything you need.”

I love the two double beds and the fact it has a bathroom with bath and en-suite I have stayed here many times and it’s near the golf course but only a 7 minute walk around the lovely lake to main activities Marion is a pleasure to deal with and her customer care exemplary Cannot wait to go back

“Site was pleasant used as a base to explore the coast.”

Lodge in a good position near golf course. Caravan was a disappointment. It wasn't clean, things were broken, not working or missing. Broken patio set, glass smeared, lamps broken, light bulbs not working, cupboard doors missing, food/bits under sofa cushions, toilet seat didn't fit, toilet brushes disgusting, dirty shower, dust/cobwebs everywhere, curtains to small, filthy duvets stuffed in cupboards, spare pillows but no pillow cases, filthy vaccum cleaner, I could go on. Whoever owns this doesn't care how they portray their holiday rental to paying guests, absolutely no pride whatsoever.

Lovely large accommodation with both bedrooms very spacious and the open plan living area excellent. Aprox 10 mins walk to main complex so good location. Would definitely stay again

Where it is situated was perfect, nice a quiet, far enough from the entertainment so you don't have the noise but close enough to walk in. If I could i would have put 10 out of 10. Marion the owner is lovely .

Another wonderful stay at one of Marion’s lodges Very well equipped lodge with lovely comfy double beds and sofas with Tv in every room which is a bonus This is a spacious lodge with a great veranda and really well appointed slightly away from centre which I like but not a long walk either Marion’s customer care is excellent Will not hesitate to book again

Booked at last minute for a weekend as a surprise for daughters Birthday. We all absolutely loved it. Lodge has everything you need, even washing machine and dishwasher. Total bonus. It is right next to the park so great for children. It’s around a 5 minute walk up to the complex. Would 1000% recommend booking with Kevin & Marion. We don’t want to leave but will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a quick and easy booking.

“Booked this lodge at last minute for a week & so glad i did as absolutely loved staying here, great location loved the walk up to the complex even though its a 10-15min walk its lovely!”

Beds are so comfortable, really enjoyed my stay felt at home & didnt want to go home, loved the decking for sitting out day or night, really grateful to the owners for letting me book at last minute, will definatley be booking up to go back to the lodge again & will be recommending the lodge next door to my family members too. Spotless clean & all the facilities you could ask for. The wrap around balcony was great for sitting outside especially as the weather was so good. Beds were so comfortable & it was excellent having a bath as well as a shower. Totally recommend this lodge

“We as a family hired this lodge and the one next door.”

.. we had a fabulous stay... we were greeted by Kevin the owner as we arrived at the complex and shown how to get to the lodges, there was nothing too much trouble on his and his wife's part and they answered all our questions promptly... the booking was extremely easy to make. The lodges have all mod cons and kitchen appliances, only thing that we found missing was an iron, but luckily there's a hire shop on site

“We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 young children on a pre- Christmas break.”

The booking procedure was very easy and the owners replied quickly answering all of the many questions I asked honestly & effectively. On arrival (a freezing cold dark December evening) the owners had very kindly put the heating on in the lodge for us so it wasn't cold to go into. The lodge itself is beautiful very spacious but homely with all mod cons including a dishwasher and full sized fridge freezer It was so warm & cosy. 2 double bedrooms with comfortable double beds. One en-suite with a huge walk in wardrobe leading to shower room with wc. The other room opens directly into the main bathroom with wc & lovely large bath. Both bedrooms have free view tv's in too. The lodge is set in an exclusive gated private area of the park not far from the children's playground area. Very quiet but still within easy walking distance to the all facilities. We enjoyed our stay so much we are looking to book again later in the year. We have stayed in many lodges & caravans over the years and this one ticks all boxes. Perfect for families but would also suit 2 couples looking for a relaxing breakaway. Would definitely recommend this lodge. Can't fault it all we will be back again.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
