“We had a lovely stay in this lodge with our grandaughter.”

She was delighted to see she had an en-suite bathroom! The lodge was clean and mattresses were very comfortable as were the the sofas in the living room. We are regular visitors to this park and we always stay in a larger lodge but this has been the best so far as a lot of them can be a bit tired and needing refreshed. We will definately be booking this one again! Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

“Stayed in the lovely lodge with 2 young children for a full weekend.”

The area site was superb and nice and calm during the evening. The location situated on the golf course and café is ideal for the kids breakfast before going to the main complex. I would highly recommend the lodges from Marion and would look to be return later in the year. Thanks again for the lovely stay.

“I had the most amazing time at Haggerston Castle!”

From start to finish, it was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Kevin and Marion, thank you both so much for providing such a cozy and comfortable place to stay – you’ve truly created something special. There were a few small issues here and there, but honestly, what do you expect from a budget-friendly stay? None of it took away from how much we enjoyed ourselves. The Haven staff couldn’t have been more friendly – so kind, helpful, and always smiling. They made a great stay even better. The kids had a wonderful time too, with so many lovely activities to keep them entertained. It was such a joy to see them so happy and excited every day! All in all, we had an unforgettable time and made some beautiful memories. I will definitely be coming back – thank you again, Kevin and Marion, for making it all possible!

“Just returned from Haggerston Castle.”

The lodge was absolutely perfect, lovley and clean, fresh bedding and in the perfect location! Castle Lakes was a gorgeous quite area and was just a short walk to the complex. The wrap around decking was lovely especially in the sunshine with plenty of seats. The swans soon learned we would feed them and were there several times of day for more food :-) The lodge had everything we needed and more and the price tag for what you get is amazing! Thank you again for a lovely weekend. We will definitely be boking with you again. Regards G

Just returned from weekend with my family caravan was not clean windows handles broken hanging off beds not changed daughter found vape in her pillow case mirrors filthy toilet seat old and dirty floors not clean had to bin kids socks grandson only 2 went under sink in kitchen to find a basin full of dirty gungy water with hose in it lamps in bedroom not working I could go on I have photos to prove this charge 400 pound for this work as domestic for nhs for 32 year so I know how to clean table on balcony was filthy with bird poo cleaner never even attempted to clean it balcony filthy arrived at 250 to cleaner sitting on balcony smoking told us she still had 10 mins left joke never again avoid had to contact owner had problem with caravan doors

“We have visited haggerston for quite a long time and I must say this was the most chilled I have felt there.”

It was in the golf retreat a lovely part of the park, it was so peaceful and not far from the second lake. The lodge itself was lovely, so spacious and of nice deco, you won't be disappointed! The value for money was good!

“Our first ever family holiday, caravan is in a great location right next to the park and little cafe, far away enough not to hear commotion from the entertainment and a pleasant walk to the complex which we did daily.”

Our particular caravan (GR9) needs some updating, the rug was frayed, the dining table and chairs had paint peeled off them and the sofas had no padding left in the seats that most evenings I sat on the floor as it was more comfortable than the sofa. I appreciate its coming to the end of the season soon but these little updates would be this caravan a 10/10 The blinds in the living room were ill-fitted and some of the chains were snapped and hanging on the floor which made the place look a bit run down. Other reviews say there were tea towels and cleaning sponges but we didn’t have that. Would have been nice to at least have a roll of toilet roll in a bathroom, a bathmat so when we got out the shower we didn’t slip (we had to put a towel down) and a few dishwasher tablets would have been a nice touch but non of this is a compliant, simply just feedback which hopefully will help other guests in the future. Chairs on the decking were rusty and one even had a broken seat which made the outside area look a bit run down but this can easily be replaced and didn’t impact our stay. Please also look at updating the welcome pack (black folder) as quite a lot of things reference to before covid times.

“Had a lovely few days at this lodge.”

The lodge is well positioned to overlook one of the many lakes. This holiday home provided nice clean fresh linens and fluffy towels. Tea towels with sponge and dishcloth provided but we always take these items with us as not all owners are as thoughtful. Lots of pots, pans, crockery. The accommodation in general is very clean and tidy. There is a Firestick and wifi so plenty of channels to watch in the living room. There is a TV in each bedroom but not sure if these are DVD/TVs as we didn't use them. Nice large decking area with plenty of seating. Owners were very helpful when we thought we couldn't get the key out of the locker, only to find we were trying to get in the wrong lodge! It would help if the lodges were numbered. When the iron didn't work, the owners were quick to deliver us another one. Would happily stay here again.

Caravan had everything we needed during our stay. We had the luck of some sunny weather too so was able to embrace the gorgeous beaches at Bamburgh.

.... This was our third stay in this particular lodge and we love it. Love the secluded gated area. Kevin and Marion are so approachable and extremely helpful. We had an amazing week. ...This is our second stay in this Lodge and we love it. So much so we have only been home a couple of hours and have rebooked for next year! Beautiful lodge in a fantastic spot. Communication with Kevin and Marion has been excellent any little queries/questions we had were dealt with immediately. Looking forward to our return! Would highly recommend.

“Just had a fabulous 4 day break in this lovely lodge, everything was as described and in a lovely peaceful spot.”

The correspondence off Marion was spot on and she patiently answered my 100's of questions before our stay. The lodge has everything you need, it was wonderfully warm and comfortable. Sadly the Northumberland weather was not very kind to us, but a fabulous break was had. We will be back, thank you. David and Wendy

Holy Island 2 miles; Berwick 9 miles.

Beal is a tiny hamlet in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a mile away from the causeway to Holy Island. This scattered hamlet, known locally as the gateway to Lindisfarne, is in an ideal position for touring North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Within easy reach of the A1, Beal has good access to all of the area's attractions - wonderful beaches, historic castles and Holy Island, which is just two miles away. Those who enjoy the great outdoors will be delighted with the Northumbrian Coastal Trail, which runs through Beal and onwards down the Heritage Coast offering stunning scenery along the way. Beal is within easy reach of both St Oswald's Way and St Cuthbert's Way and there are some great birdwatching sites nearby. Seahouses is close by or you can spend a day visiting Farne Island by boat where you may catch a glimpse of seals and puffins.
