“Absolutely fantastic lodge, great location on park , quiet and only a 10 minute stroll to main complex.”

Lodge has everything you could ask for, extremely comfortable and great wifi. Ideal for a relaxing break, just chilling on the decking , weather was great which helped, not much the owner can do about this though . Would highly recommend and will 100% return.

“We have just returned from a beautiful relaxing stay at Cheviot View.”

The lodge was huge and our family of 6 very comfortably fit in. The view onto the lake was very peaceful and the kids had great fun feeding the ducks and swans. The rooms were large and all beds very comfortable. Gorgeous accommodation and will definitely use again.

“This was our second stay in this beautiful lodge.”

It really is a home from home. It has everything you need for the perfect stay. We love getting away as a family for our September weekend. It’s our last break of the year after our summer abroad holiday. Our wee girl loves Haggerston and riding the horses and we really like visiting Alnwick. It’s lovely waking up to the lake and feeding the ducks. There is a washing machine and even a clothes line outside so that you can come home and just unpack. I would never book through haven, their top end accommodation doesn’t come close to this. Heather is lovely to deal with and always very quick to respond. Thanks again Heather for a lovely stay in your beautiful lodge. We will book again. ????

“Week at Haggerston in a magnificent lodge.”

Spotlessly clean and everything catered for. It is indeed a luxury lodge and home from home, ideally placed at the lake with everything that we needed for the week. Away from the main amenities so very peaceful. But not to far away to go to shop etc. The weather was that good that we spent the majority of our time sat on the deck. We will definitely be looking to book again.

“We stayed here for a long weekend and loved it!”

The lodge had everything we needed and was so quiet which was brilliant with with 3 children! Its in a lovely area of the park and a 15 min walk which was nice as you can access the facilites but removed if you want peace. There is crazy golf and a cafe 5 mins away. The only small issue was with the night time entertainment venue. There were people queuing to get in from 3.30 so you had no chance! Not that it mattered as we preferred being in the lodge but it made buying passes very expensive when you could really only use the swimming pool ! We would definitely return to this lodge as we all had a good break and our toddler loved all the geese and ducks!

“We have been coming to Haggerston for our September weekend for several years and this is by far the best lodge we have stayed in.”

We have in the past paid double what we paid for Heathers lodge with haven and it honestly didn’t come close to this accommodation. We are a family who are very particular when it comes to picking holiday accommodation. We do like nice things and we don’t venture out as much due to our older son having autism and type one diabetes. It is so important to us that we stay somewhere really nice, clean and in a lovely area with a nice view. This lodge has all of that. It was perfect for us. Heather is so quick to respond to queries and gave us great recommendations for places to visit which was a really nice touch. We managed to visit a few of them. We also got our insurance bond back the same day of departure. Don’t hesitate to book you won’t regret it! Thanks Heather for an amazing stay. We will be back! Love the Bryce family x

The lodge was absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault it. Location is perfect in a peaceful area of the park overlooking one of the lakes, still within walking distance of the main complex. Plenty of comfortable furniture on the decking outside the lodge. The lodge is very spacious and luxurious and it really is home from home, everything you need is there and all high quality. Everything was spotlessly clean. Communication with the owner is excellent and they obviously take pride and care over their lovely lodge . I would definitely recommend It to anyone staying at Haggerston castle and I hope to return, me and the boys loved it...

“A fantastic week spent in a truly luxury lodge.”

Really was a 'home from home.' Beautiful location, right on the edge of a very scenic lake. Cheviot View is a highly desirable area of the Haggerston Castle site. Quiet and tranquil, while being within easy walking distance of the Entertainment Complex. The lodge was fully equipped with everything required to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Good communication with Heather from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to others. We will almost certainly book again through Heather.

“Just home from a fabulous weekend away with family (myself, wife & 2 teenage kids along withy mother & father in law) The lodge was stunning with ample room for us all, Fully equipped with everything you need & spotlessly clean - a total home from home.”

Situated on a lake with fabulous wildlife which I have to say really kept us entertained when we were in the lodge. Communication from booking to recieving our bond back was spot on very quick - replied almost instantly with any questions we had & was given some fabulous recommendations. Would not hesitate to book again & most definatley will. We didn't use any of the site facilities except the shop so couldn't really comment in them, Berwick however has some fabulous restaurants & coffee shops & lots of stunning places to visit locally. Thankyou for a fabulous stay none of us could fault anything.

Not only is the inside of the lodge great but the location of the lodge itself is brilliant. In a quiet area and overlooking the lake, I could’ve easily spent the whole time sat out on the decking watching the world pass by. Heather kept us informed throughout and has been extremely friendly and helpful during communication with her, she told us everything we needed to know leading up to our arrival. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Clean and tidy on arrival in a lovely quiet area of the park looking out on to a lake and really private. Heather kept us informed all through the process and the site kept us informed via Email of all the latest issues/regulations in relation to COVID. “This lodge is amazing.”

It is really spacious with everything you need - gin glasses were a definite bonus, as were the comfy beds, walk in shower and wifi. The highlight is the outdoor area with views over the lake. We loved sitting out on an evening watching the wildlife including a resident heron. My daughter loved feeding the swans and ducks too. I would definitely recommend this lodge. Thanks Heather.

We arrived to a beautiful lodge in Cheviot view with a veranda over looking the lake and a modern homely feel to the lodge interior. Picturesque views to enjoy food and drinks around the lake. To make it even more of an memorable stay I proposed during a candle lit meal out on the lower part of the veranda. We can’t thank Heather enough For the effort she had put in with quick replies, we will defiantly be back next year. 10/10 Thanks

Heather was more than accommodating, changing booking details, car passes etc, so that my family could enjoy the break in this fabulous lodge. Nothing was to much trouble for Heather. Absolute home from home, free WiFi, Xbox, patio, in a peaceful part of the park. Cleanliness was to a high standard. We have stayed in numerous lodges on the park and this lived up to expectations. Also, very reasonably priced. We will be back next year.

“We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay at this gorgeous lodge.”

On arrival, it was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed and more. It’s in a perfect location as we had younger children with us who are normally in bed by 8pm, it was super quiet! It’s so peaceful by the lake that sometimes you’d forget you were in a much bigger park. My children were so sad to leave, they miss their ‘caravan home’ as my youngest called it. They were delighted with having TVs in all the bedrooms too, such a novelty for them. I’d definitely book this lodge again (and I know my children would be over the moon to go back! )

The lodge is outstanding and is furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Located in a quieter area of the park, it's a casual 15 minute walk to the main attractions. Great to chill on the large deck while taking in the view of the lake and enjoy the varied wildlife. Owner always responds promptly. We would not hesitate to return. “Myself and husband stayed here for a short break in July, the lodge was perfect from start to finish and wish had had more time to stay longer to enjoy it,the lodge is situated around a small lake that was filled with all kinds of birds which made it even more enjoyable to sit on the balcony and just chill out,it’s also at the quieter part of the park which is fab.”

The lodge it’s self it equipped with everything you need for your stay And is very spacious and was just like a home from home. The owners were very helpful before booking on any questions we had about the property and answered almost instantly which I found very helpful,I Would definitely recommend this for short or long stays and will definitely be rebooking again at some point

Heather was amazing very quick to respond to our enquiry and questions and made the whole process really easy. The lodge was a real home from home and more we simply loved it. So much so we tried to book again in a few weeks. The lodge had everything we needed comfortable beds and a wonderful shower and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. This caravan is absolutely beautiful inside and out and the location is amazing. The caravan is extremely spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The caravan faces onto one of the lakes and it is such a beautiful view to wake up to and have your morning coffee out of the deck. It has such a homely feel and it has everything you need. It’s most definitely a home from home. Set in a lovely area of the park with a huge deck to sit out on and take in the views . This lodge is very spacious and modern . The bedding was lovely as were the fluffy towels , well worth the money . Heather was a real pleasure to deal with once again . We have stayed in Heathers caravan at Berwick which we loved and certainly weren’t disappointed with this lodge . Well done Heather , you never fail to provide first class accommodation

Have to say this is the best accommodation we have stayed in and location was excellent. Caravan was equipped with everything that you would need. Guy even popped to make sure we had washing up liquid. Caravan was spotless cannot find any faults at all. Would definitely recommend this caravan to anyone.

Everything about Heather's lodges (this is the 3rd one we have stayed in) is exceptional. Home from home, and then some! You want for absolutely nothing. From TV's in every room, fancy coffee machine, X-box, dishwaser, hairdryer, hair straighteners; Heather has thought of everything to make sure your stay is a good one. The lodge is at the end of a little cu de sac, looking out on a lake with beatuful views and peaceful surroundings, but only about a 15 min walk from the bustle of the complex. Heather's communication from start to finish is very professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this lodge to anyone.

“The caravan itself was very spacious.”

The bedrooms had plenty of room and the large living room led out to the biggest decking we’ve ever had in a caravan. The facilities were excellent. Anything you could think of was provided for, including black bags and dishwasher tablets. And with Netflix and large TV, there was plenty to keep the wee one entertained on an evening in. Cleanliness couldn’t be faulted and all the furniture was very comfy. From first enquiring to arriving at the caravan, contact from the owner, Heather, was excellent. Always responded in good time and was very friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend this caravan highly enough.

It was a very last minute booking. Heather replied almost immediately to our request for accommodation with only 2 days notice. very impressed with her communication and help. The lodge was perfect in every way. Photos dont do it justice. Everything you need like home from home. Including large smart tv with Netflix which was great for a film night in. Two coffee makers, large fridge and freezer. fab hob and oven. loved the quirky kettle and toaster. Balcony was larger than the photos, we sat on it each day especially the last day as it was hot. Set on a very quiet location, so peaceful just watching the ducks and swan on the lake. fixtures and fittings all luxurious. We will definitely be back for another stay. thank you Heather for having us.

! From the moment we arrived we knew our stay was going to be amazing.. the lodge is stunning has everything you could ever need and is spotless. Perfect chilled location over looking the lake. The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe.
