Berwick-upon-Tweed is a coastal town positioned at the most northerly tip of Northumberland, offering four sandy beaches, riverside walks and abundant cycling trails for visitors to enjoy. Stroll the circular walk atop the town's Elizabethan walls, and capture the spectacular views across the River Tweed estuary and Berwick's three bridges, including the famous Royal Border Bridge. Brush up on your history by visiting the local museums, enjoy sun-filled days at the beach and be inspired by the exhibitions in the town's superb galleries.
