Daily activities for children Berwick upon Tweed The park is located just a 10 minute walk, or plenty of taxis happy to take you to the town centre, where you can find various shops, bars, and restaurants. The train station is 5 minutes from the park. There is also Spittal beach, a short drive from the park, which has a beach, promenade, children’s park, café and arcades. If you fancy a fun night on a Saturday, you can watch the Berwick Bandits at the local speedway, great entertainment for all the family, but be sure to wrap up warm on the cooler nights. The park is surrounded by a golf course, Holey Moley putting green.
