Your pictures don’t do it justice so up to date and modern. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Loads of kitchen utensils, beds comfortable and all made up on arrival, nice shower’s and caravan lovely and clean. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

“Absolutely 100% beautiful and well equipped accommodation which is also in a great spot on holiday park.”

Very spacious inside and the outdoor seating area was a great bonus due to the beautiful weather we had. Could not fault anything during our stay and it was certainly a very enjoyable one. Will definitely book again.

“We had a lovely stay in Julie and Simon's lodge.”

It is in a quiet part of the site but entertainment is easily accessible if wished. We used it as a base to tour the area but also spent some time on the site with our young grandchildren. They loved the swimming and the entertainment and felt very grown up with a television in their own room. Their beds were also larger than you find in most caravan / lodges. We ate out a few times as there were so many lovely restaurants around. Kids ate free (three courses) at Trenchers in Spanish City. Not many places offer that! Whitley Bay is beautiful and there is a lot to do and see. Girls loved painting pottery to take home and running on the beach and greenery on the esplanade. Beautiful area and beautiful lodge. We hope to return.

Julie&Simon's caravan is out of this world fantastic part of the park quite with a lovely deck to sit out and enjoy the sun the caravan was very comfortable and modern the twin room beds are full size very comfortable and smart tv the main room has big double bed with on suite bathroom with shower and smart TV livingroom/kitchen is well laid out even has dishwasher and washing machine full size fridge freezer gas cooker livingroom was comfortable and was nice at night having the coal affect fire overall just amazing will be booking again soon many thanks

“AMAZING!!.”

.We were staying at Julie's, while visiting our son,partner and grandsons, We brought my in laws with us, 93 and 89,we chose the lodge as it was perfect for them, full size single beds, walk in shower and all flat. We've had many caravan/lodge holidays over the years,but, nothing compares to this . Everything has been thought of, as well as spotlessly clean (I'm an ocd clean freak,) i was delighted to find lots of cleaning products in the kitchen and bathrooms, theres a hoover and mop iron and board and drying rack. A welcome basket, including a bottle of wine and biscuits which went down a treat at night sat on the veranda, which gets the sun all day,in the shade in the evening. We had the kingize ensuite, the beds one of the comfiest I've slept in loads of storage space in each bedroom. The lodge is in a very quiet spot right at the back of the park, which backs onto fields. We've been totally spoilt by the standard of the lodge. We've booked to come again in September and are bringing my mum with us 83, so the lodge will be perfect for her aswell. I've spoken to Julie a few times on the phone and she's very friendly and helpful. Thankyou Julie and Simon for letting us stay in your wonderful lodge. Alan, Tracey, Harold and Maureen.

“Fantastic holiday lodge.”

Felt at home immediately. Clean and comfortable with all essentials provided. Lovely decking area with furniture for outdoor leisure. Lodge in quiet area of park but within walking distance of all facilities the park has to offer. Thankyou to Julie and Simon for making our stay memorable. Would highly recommend.

“We have just spent a fabulous long weekend here, Firstly can i say thank you to you both for the beautiful flowers left for my birthday, that was a lovely suprise!”

the lodge had everything we needed, Having two shower rooms was great and saved alot of time, comfortable beds, loads of wardrobe space, the welcome pack was a lovely touch, our granddaughter loves shortbread! the weather was great and we sat on the balcony on a night which was lovely and makes a holiday for us, the lodge is in a lovely quiet area of the park, five minutes from the clubhouse and park, if you want to join in with activities the passes are £12.95 for an adult, £7.95 for children, this allows for swimming and going into the clubhouse where they have shows and things going on for children, they also have a bar and restaurant but we never tried it, our granddaughter especially loved rock pooling at St Marys lighthouse, The coastline is stunning and we spent alot of time at the beach, We could have spent more time here, our granddaughter cried when we had to leave! All in all a lovely place to stay, home from home, and one of the best places we have stayed, would definitely return.

Whitley Bay is a seaside town on the North East coast of England. For most of the 19th century, the town was a mining and fishing settlement, however it has since been reborn as a popular holiday resort, with tourists flocking to enjoy the sights and attractions, including the two mile stretch of stunning golden sand along the North Sea Coast. The town has much to offer the tourists, including quaint independent shops, fun-filled arcades as well as the local attraction, Spanish City, a remarkable dining and leisure centre, originally built in 1910 as a concert hall and painted to look like a Spanish village. Indulge in fish and chips with a walk along the promenade, finishing with a visit to Di Meos, voted Whitley Bays best ice cream parlour. Further afield is the bustling University city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, host to an array of pubs, bars and restaurants as well as an excellent shopping centre and walks along the Quayside on the banks of the River Tyne.
