“An excellent caravan in a great location, very well equipped and hard to improve on.”

Highly recommended. It's very comfortable, well looked after, has a good heating system, good cooking facilities, good shower, good wifi. Well situated for St Andrews and the wider East Neuk and yards from the Fife Coastal Path. Instructions on finding and getting access were all straightforward.

The property

Our holiday home is situated in a quiet area of the park (26 Old Course Drive) close to the Fife Coastal path and offers beautuful views over East Sands. The caravan is spotless and has gas central heating and double glazing.

There is Wi-fi, a smart TV and DVD player, a selection of DVDs and board games. Although the caravan can sleep 6 people, our preference would be for no more than 4 adults, however, please phone to discuss.

There is a large double bedroom with en-suite toilet and the main bathroom has a double walk in shower.

There is also a twin bedroom and a pull out double bed in the lounge area. All fresh, quality bed linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a full size gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. There is lovely decking with garden furniture and plenty of parking space. There is strictly no smoking in the caravan Please note we only accept bookings for a minimum of 4 nights during peak periods (June - Sept).

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
