“I have had a wonderful time with my elderly parents.”

The caravan was perfect for what we needed. It is in a perfect location. It was also equipped with everything that we needed, it was tasteful decorated and had all modern appliances. The owner Andrea was extremely helpful and responsive. I would highly recommended staying at Mellow.

“We have just returned from a week staying in 'Mellow' static home at Blue Anchor in North Somerset.”

We were very pleased with the spacious accommodation which was beautifully presented, comfortable and clean. The location on the park is excellent with a quiet position and sea views from the balcony. The sea front is literally two minutes away and the same distance in the other direction lets you view the steam trains on the West Somerset Railway. If you want to catch the train, the station is a short walk away. An ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The owner, Andrea, was very friendly and handled our booking hassle-free. We would definitely book this static again for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.

“Blue Anchor is a lovely quiet caravan site with pleasant staff and friendly neighbouring guests.”

It's very therapeutic to hear the soothing sounds of the waves and steam trains close to the caravan. We booked Andrea's caravan due to the full size single beds and the king size bed with bath en suite, not something we've ever had in any other caravans we'd stayed at. Unfortunately the heating was turned off, and although it was during July, the weather was particularly bad, and the caravan was very cold in the mornings and overnight. Our stay could have been improved had we been able to turn the radiators on. However, I was very impressed with the krups coffee machine and complimentary box of Starbucks coffee pods. My husband was a little disappointed though as no complimentary tea bags, serves him right for not being a coffee drinker like me :D. Overall a good caravan with lots of home comforts included. Beautiful sea view from the decking.

“Caravan is lovely.”

Clean and very comfortable. You can sit in the lounge or on the decking and watch the sea which is very calming and relaxing. There are 2 cafes one on the caravan site and the other a short up the road. Definitely recommend it to family and friends.

“We had an excellent few days here!”

Caravan is very clean and fully equipped with everything needed for your stay, with little touches such as a free tea or coffee to sit down and relax on the decking to sit and watch the sea! We had plenty of space and was nice to have a on suite available. The park itself has a lovely pool which opens at 9:30am which is a stone throw away from the caravan. There is a lovely café next door to the pool which sells a variety of things to eat. The beach is just opposite the road to the site, with a pub and another great café close by, as well as the blue anchor train station, where you can catch a steam train (we went to Watchet - took around 20 mins) but other destinations available. We have already booked a holiday here again and look forward to returning.

“Never have we stayed in such a well equipped caravan frankly you have thought of everything!”

Great position on site close to everything but literally all you can hear at night were the waves. Very clean and comfy caravan can't recommend enough. Daughter who always gets the smaller room but is 6ft tall was very impressed by the size of her room and a proper bed! Lovely owner very easy booking and payment process. Great little break Thankyou

“I will be back.”

A great short Easter break for Dad and Daughter. Great caravan and caravan location within the site. Clean, tidy, fresh, all the bits I needed. Easy access to cafe, pool and parking. Easy to find and make yourself at home. The kitchen has good appliances for cooking and coffee was great - equally the re-opened cafe had a good breakfast and airy feel. Host was responsive with an enquiry and resolved one minor issue very quick, giving confidence to re-book in future.

“Very enjoyable stay.”

Caravan was clean and tidy. The beds were clean and comfortable. It had everything you would need to make your stay stress free. Whether you stayed in to look at the sea view or go for walks along the sea front it was just a relaxing place to stay.

The popular seaside resort of Minehead occupies a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, on the lovely West Somerset Coast. This welcoming town boasts a mile long esplanade, providing a wonderful backdrop to the golden beach, whilst the pretty harbour, visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley, offers excellent fishing opportunities. Enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey from the seafront on the West Somerset Railway, or visit Blenheim Gardens, winner of many awards for its beautiful floral displays. Renowned for the largest herd of red deer in England, Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, pretty bridlepaths and heather clad moors, is well worth a visit, whilst the magnificent Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is a must.
