“I booked this stay very last minute as a quick get away before the children go back to college/uni.”

The communication was great and I received all the information needed for our stay. Finding the caravan site and the caravan itself was pretty straight forward. Upon arrival, the caravan was very clean and ready for us to enjoy. It had all the appliances you could possibly need during your stay (I cooked everyday). The caravan is quite spacious which our little sausage dog appreciated as she had plenty of room to move around in. We didn't actually use the facilities on site but there seemed to be plenty to see and do. There are shops nearby, there is a beach directly outside the caravan site and there are places of interest to suit all needs in the local area. Butlins Minehead is only a 15 minute drive away and makes for a great day out also. There is a train line which runs behind the caravan and you can see the steam train as it passes (this did not cause any disturbance) which is lovely to see also. We all enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend to others and would stay again should we revisit the area!

“Nice caravan and facilities.”

Shame about the cleanliness inside and out. And the vaccum is useless the caravan is green on the outside full of moss . Which is the only caravan on the site in this condition. There was blonde hairs all over the carpets and seats.

Don't think it had,had a good clean as cobwebs around roofline in various rooms and a child's Yoghurt pot with its own environment by the television. Other than that it was pleasant.

The property

This privately owned 2 bedroom caravan is situated right at the rear of the site, overlooked by the West Somerset Steam Railway. The beach is a short stroll away and with views across to South Wales, Minehead and North Hill, it’s well worth a stroll to the front. The caravan has a good size deck area with chairs. The caravan comes fully equipped (including quilts and pillows for 1 x double, 1 x twin.

Pillowcases, sheets, and quilt cover will need to be provided plus any additional bedding required). Please note that we do not provide bed linen or towels.

The popular seaside resort of Minehead occupies a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, on the lovely West Somerset Coast. This welcoming town boasts a mile long esplanade, providing a wonderful backdrop to the golden beach, whilst the pretty harbour, visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley, offers excellent fishing opportunities. Enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey from the seafront on the West Somerset Railway, or visit Blenheim Gardens, winner of many awards for its beautiful floral displays. Renowned for the largest herd of red deer in England, Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, pretty bridlepaths and heather clad moors, is well worth a visit, whilst the magnificent Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is a must.
