Would have been nice to have a bigger fridge freezer. Had one issue with the shower but was rectified very quickly.

“Beautiful spacious van.”

Perfect position. Clean and airy nice garden space.. close to all amenities. ( Would advise to take your own mattress for cot bed if you need to use it as very thin ) lovely campsite

“We had a lovely stay at unity caravan site, we didn’t use the facilities on site, but paid to go in the fun fair and swimming which were good fun.”

The beach is close by so that was lovely too. Overall a good holiday, the caravan was clean modern and spacious.

“Be aware when arriving we had to pay extra £39.”

60 for Compulsory Park pass to get on site. We were not told about this extra cost. Good caravan but settee was well worn and uncomfortable. Caravan in good location

The property

We have a beautiful holiday home available to hire. It is a 6 berth caravan with 1 double bedroom with an en suite, 1 twin bedroom and also has pull out bed in the living room. Our caravan has full central heating, double glazing Spacious living room, 42 inch TV, fully alarmed, 2 parking spaces and a spacious garden. The spacious garden has enclosed decking and modern garden furniture.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a gas oven, hob and grill, a large fridge, freezer, a kettle, toaster, microwave, sandwich toaster and cutlery etc. The price you pay includes gas and electricity. All cooking items, crockery and cutlery are provided. Quilts and pillows are supplied; bed linen is not included. Iron and ironing board are provided. High chair and travel cot also available with notice. Please bring washing up items, towels, toilet rolls, toiletries, hair dryers and your personal holiday belongings. Only one car is included per booking. Should you wish to bring another car, you can do so but there will be a charge per extra car/night. The charge will be paid upon arrival at reception.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £50.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
