“The caravan is as described and was clean and nicely presented.”

The sofa was very comfortable. Maintenance was good and it was very easy to access beach or facilities. WiFi also worked well - I was apprehensive but there were no problems at all. Since the access requires an information card it would help if it were in the caravan. You have to go to the reception to get it. The sofa was very comfortable. Maintenance was good and it was very easy to access beach or facilities. WiFi also worked well - I was apprehensive but there were no problems at all. Since the access requires an information card it would help if it were in the caravan. You have to go to the reception to get it. There are no password details on it just the link to the Parkdean website Improvements - instructions needed for equipment. There were none at all. I still don’t know how the microwave works. Arrival instructions- I discovered that the caravan number is on the rear of the caravan- initially I was trying to get into the wrong caravan. The parking is also accessed from the rear The caravan does not have a dishwasher or washing machine. (This information is clearly listed). It would be an issue for me on a longer stay. The location is quiet but you are surrounded on all sides by other caravans This caravan is good value for money and I would recommend it.

The property

Please note you are now able to book for next year.

All prices are listed. The caravan is at Poplars 27. As we rent the caravan mainly through Parkdean we have to fall into their system of renting it from Monday to Monday, Friday to Friday, Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday from the 1/3 to 22/11.

For dates after 22/11 we can be more flexible.

Advertised on the Parkdean website as a 'Laleston' grade caravan.

PLEASE NOTE THE PRICE QUOTED IS THE ACTUAL PRICE YOU PAY. YOU BUY YOUR OWN ENTERTAINMENT PASSES -- SEE BELOW. Go on to the Parkdean site to see what you would pay for a Laleston grade caravan for the period you want.

Sometimes, if you require entertainment passes, it may be cheaper to book through Parkdean although you would not guarantee getting this caravan. Very quiet location with a partial seaview. Only one minute to the beach while being within five minutes of all the amenities the resort has to offer. Extensive decking with rattan furniture.

Ideal as a giant playpen for toddlers.

(Owing to theft a parasol is no longer provided but the base will be there if you would like to bring your own). Master bedroom with Kingsize bed and ensuite with bath and shower. Additional bathroom with shower and toilet. As we also rent through Parkdean there is a full rental inventory in the caravan to include- Parkdean have recommended that all guests bring their own sheets and pillow cases.

All other bedding will be there. 42'' TV in lounge with freeview. 32''TV/DVD combi in master bedroom. Sky dish if you want to bring your sky box. DVD player. Iron, iron board and clothes airer. Vacuum cleaner. Security light. Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher all have which have been inspected prior to this rental season. Up to date gas and electricity certificates. Plus everything else you need to eat, drink and make merry. Suitable for families and mature couples.

Owing to its location it is unsuitable for same sex groups.

Please note all rental caravans are non smoking. Check the Trecco Bay site.

You will be amazed at the facilities on offer. Entertainment passes cost £15 for three days and £25 for a week.

Under two's free.

If required you buy these on arrival.

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
