“DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.”
Me, my husband and son had a wonderful holiday here but we’re left shocked and pretty peed off when sent a message saying we would not receive our security bond due to damage on 2 doors which was non-existent. I would steer clear from this owner. I’ve rented caravans for 25 years and always leave them clean and tidy as found. I have never had any trouble or allegations up until now.
I can assure you this is no scam ! The caravan is brand new and had been inspected vigorously before your stay the damage was not there before your stay and appeared after , the £50 damage bond will not even cover one door let alone two so why on earth would I scam someone out of £50 is just redicolus, I also have an excellent history of renting and in 3 years of renting you are only the second person I have ever withheld the damage bond from , it was not left clean but that is not something I would withhold a damage bond for especially with someone staying with young children , you have left a scathing review of the caravan after previously stating that it is “beautiful “ which is extremely unfair all because you have forfeited your damage bond , I would suggest in future that you take out extra damage insurance which uk caravans does offer to avoid situations like these , I have not scammed you out of £50 ! I am extremely upset that my brand new caravan is damaged, the damaged doors didn’t miraculously appear by themselves and i am left with no other option than to assume you did the damage as you were in the caravan.
