Unfortunately, the accommodation was not clean, and we had to go out and buy supplies to try to address some of the issues ourselves. The outside decking area was filthy, and the outdoor furniture was both broken and dirty, with no seat cushions.
Inside, some of the cooking utensils were dirty, and the kettle was not fit for purpose. I have never seen a kettle with so much limescale. Luckily, we were able to buy some descaler and clean it ourselves.

There was also a large 7ft fridge placed in the middle of the living area, which was neither ideal nor safe, especially with a one-year-old child. Fortunately, we were only staying for the weekend, as I don’t think we would have stayed any longer. We tried to make the most of our stay and not let the issues spoil it for the children.
My daughter and was staying in the caravan next to us, which was clean and had a lovely outside area with furniture that was in good condition. As a result, we spent a lot of time there instead.
We have stayed in many caravans at the Minehead site over the years, but this is by far the worst accommodation we have ever experienced.
