“This was our first stay in one of Rhona’s caravans.”

We really enjoyed our time there and found it comfortable, well equipped and it proved to be ideally located for a St David’s area holiday. It was a 6 minute walk to a tiny bay on the National Trust coastal path. We’re in our mid seventies and it took about 1.5 hrs of very relaxed walking to follow the path to Solva harbour. By car it takes only a few minutes to get to St David’s itself. It was all very pleasant and we’d happily use this caravan again.

“Perfect location.”

The site was quiet during the week that we stayed. The doors were a little difficult to close and we were kept awake one night by water dripping from the down pipe at the rear of the caravan. The caravan was really well equipped and would definitely recommend.

“Just back from a woderful few days stying in this excellent caravan.”

The owner, Rhona, contacted us several weeks before our stay and was extremely helpful in providing all the details we needed. Once we arrived, the location of the caravan in a small campsite set back from the road with access to the coast was perfect. We rented both of Rhona's static caravans at Nine Wells for four adulst and four very active children. The two caravans were very clean and had all the mod cons you need including plentiful running hot water. The campsite is well located between St Davids and Solva with several coves and beaches to explore not far away, either by foot on the coastal path or short drive by car. All in all we had a magical stay, helped by the best weather and we will be back!

“Clean, well maintained, easy to stay in caravan.”

Perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. It's a short walk from the coastal path and right near a level;y valley with a rope swing and stream. The wild flowers over a lake that leads to a rocky cove. The caravan was so easy. Well stocked kitchen with an air frier! The heating was needed and very easy to operate. Hot shower and a comfy bed. There's a hoover and plenty of cleaning equipment. The owner of the caravan called me with instructions as soon as it was confirmed. I missed the call and they took the time to call me again with all the info a few days before our stay. Very helpful and promptly on hand via text if we needed. (we didn't but kept in touch as to when we arrived/departed. We would 100% recommend. Thank you

“Firstly, the friendly customer care from owners Rhona and Michael was exemplary, they made every effort to ensure that all was ok – and were at the end of the phone otherwise (which it wasn’t).”

The booking process was also uncomplicated and effective. The caravan itself was a quite new and compact 4 berth with all foreseeable amenities and requirements even a heavy-duty torch should it be needed. Spotlessly clean. For a cool early season an electric fire was part of the fittings, though rarely used, neither was the central heating. Piping hot water. The double bed was comfortable. The location was ideal for a quiet break, very rural though just outside Solva and a short ride to St David’s. Mini markets were a short distance along the road while in St David’s is a large super market. A major attraction was the 20 minutes stroll down a picturesque woodland footpath to the coast, bisecting the coastal path. It led to a stunning rugged inlet. Value - although only a couple we paid a similar amount to stay in a St David's hotel last year. (presumably below 10 is the highest score)

thanks. Caravan was generally very clean; but just saw some dog hair on carpet which for me was not nice. but generally nice little caravan well stocked. Again i dont usually give 10 out of 10; but think i should definitely mention that it was excellent value for money for our very last minute plans

“Lovely holiday at Nine Wells.”

Caravan was perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Central heating definitely a bonus for a cold windy week in October. Rhona contacted us with all important information the day after we booked and she was contactable if needed throughout the holiday. Lots of information left in the caravan of places to go in the surrounding areas. Would definitely consider booking one of Rhona's caravans if we visit the area again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Its in a great location for the pembokeshire coastal path and the nearby village of Solva is lovely. The caravan was great for its age and had everything we needed and was comfortable. The only drawback was the shower hose leaked quite a bit which meant the shower was a bit feeble!

Pick nick table was a nice addition, wasn’t expecting it. Nice quiet Dog friendly site with Solva only a short walk down the road or via the coast path, and St Davids only a short drive the other way. Rhona was very helpful and always contactable if needed. The property

This is a brand new 2023 caravan on a very quiet exclusive site with only approximately 25 caravans bordering National Trust land leading to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which is only 10 minutes away.

The walk to Solva on this path is an experience one is unlikely to forget or for the more adventurous the walk to St Davids in the opposite direction.

Subject to season, various bus services are available meaning many linear walks are possible.

This is a safe and secure site with a coded barrier, the code of course which will be made known to you on booking.

Many lovely harbours, beaches for bathing, surfing, walking or picnics within 15 minutes.

About the location

SOLVA

St Davids 6 miles; Haverfordwest 12 miles.

A superb village around a tidal harbour where boats can be launched and walks along the dramatic coast path will be a delight any time of the year. This pretty little village may be small but offers friendly pubs serving good food, gift shops, art galleries and a nearby superb woollen mill shop where special gifts can be bought to remember your stay in Wales. Lazy days sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide and the boats bobbing in and out of the harbour are a sheer delight. Visit the nearby woollen mill itself to sit by the waterwheel, go into the weaving shed or enjoy a break in the cafe. Just a few miles from Solva you can visit St Davids, the smallest city in Britain, with its magnificent St Davids Cathedral and wander the small streets to again find unique gifts, eat a hearty meal or an afternoon tea, or just sit in the peaceful grounds of the cathedral, it also houses Oriel y Parc an information centre offering suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. Whitesands Bay with its superb beach offers relaxing days or maybe some surfing. Take boat trips to spot dolphins and wonderful sea birds or take bike rides along country roads. A wonderful location to enjoy your Welsh holiday.
